Golf Channels Rex Hoggard who is reporting for Golf Central from CJ Cup Byron Nelson talked to Wills performance coach Josh Gregory. Will is fine. This is a scheluding issue. Will played 3 weeks in a row. He missed the cut last week with Sahith Theeagala. This is a huge risk to keep a week off cause Will is 30th in the world. I think its a bigger deal this week cause this event never attracts a good field per say. All eyes will be on Jordan for sure now. If Will falls out of the top 30, who knows if he will get a sponsor invitee to Wells Fargo. If Will had taken off 6 months given the new schelude with the pissing contest he would be screwed. I still think it will be a great week. Im interesting always in how low can they go.

@@LegolasFan69 The statement makes it weirder. He played 3 weeks in a row. I think its a big deal cause this field isnt that attractive. Any other week it wouldnt be a big deal. I think Will aint playing cause his team is frustrated at the missed cut in New Orleans. he and Sahith were at -9 the -8s were out of it. They collasped came home in +3 and the -8s were back it. Its a big risk for Will to skip this week. He is 16th in the fed ex cup and ranked 30th. Top 30 get in to Wells Fargo. Will aint a lock.

Tiger is out and about in an attempt to make it look like he's doing something for PGA to justify all the money he'll be taking on the SSG deal...because his golf definitely doesn't justify it. He should rather use the next couple of years to get ready for the senior's tour because at this stage it doesn't look as if he'd even make it on that tour...

I'd be shocked if Sunday Red ends up being an overall success. Check it out yo I got the new Sunday red. Are golfers seriously going to by his crap and I'd be shocked if this ends up appealing to non golfers... to golfers it may even be a deterrent because it may come off a bit tackey. You're on the golf course wearing Tiger Woods gear playing like crap... kinda weird.... unless there's something fashionably impressive that looks good, Sunday red aside. But a new clothing line with a big marketing campaign... it's possible. I realize the Greg Norman line worked and I don't know the circumstances but something tells me it worked because it was subtle and he wasn't a household name to non golfers. But what do I know... obviously there's backers who know more than I funding this crap, so I guess we'll see.

@@LegolasFan69 they mention a couple times its a weak field. but seriously, this is a PGA tour golf podcast. they break down and analyze every tournament, every week, regardless of how weak the field is. While Greg may use some hyperbole, these tournaments ARE important to a lot of guys teeing it up. I don’t think first cut is being disingenuous at all. You know you don’t have to listen, right?
