I know. I’m test driving a Y tomorrow because of it. I have had two 3s and I’m having a hard time convincing myself to go away from the sports car being that I’m single with no kids. BUT originally bought the 3 out of impatience for the Y when I owned an Acura RDX. Goving up range is so hard. But it’ll actually be cheaper per month for the Y.

Not necessarily any time soon for Y refresh. This promo likely to reduce the overwhelming Y inventory. Tesla has already said there’s no Y refresh planned

Been waiting since I joined the company a little over 4 years ago and when I was ready I heard rumors of updated 3 then the performance was delayed and now that im finally ready to order the car the dropped y interest rates so low. I was looking to put 10k down on a model 3 plus the tax credit but still with all that the interest at the end of the loan is 9k compared to the model Y the interest rate is only 1.3k with zero down. Model 3 monthly payment is $747 a month with 10k down vs Model Y LR AWD is $684 a month with 0 down but you save 8k in interest.

Just did a short term 24 Month lease on the M3P and enjoy that until the Juniper release. Hard to know when that will happen and needed a car now.

IMO…Model 3 hands down !! The suspension is revamped and it’s night and day vs the Model Y. Model Y is pretty bumpy especially on long rides. The Model 3 is so much more quieter as well. Anyone who test drives the new Model 3 will see the difference.

Great video. But Tesla made several upgrades on the "2024 Y". Any way you could point out what improvements (double paned glass, etc.) and when they happened? Tesla inventory is baiting "new" MY's that are actually 2023 made without upgrades. .99 financing not worth it for non upgraded units IMO.

I hate that I missed the financing. If they don’t come out with something similar of a deal I won’t get it.

Wow . . interior lights that change color! Car makes fart noises! You can cover the cup holder! No Tesla icon on steering wheel!! How about paint that doesn't chip so easily and making cars with protective film on the front! How about better quality control and better fit and finish? How about putting back the portable charger plugs? EPA ranges estimates are wildly off by at least 10-15% in perfect conditions.

I feel like trading in my 3 for a Y but know for sure I’ll be upside down with the former 😬

just ordered a white on white model 3, love the new interior compared to the Y and the old 3.

To be honest I find model looks better than model 3 , my opinion 😉

The MY is not inferior in any way. This video is made by a M3 fanboy. Objectively the MY is easier to get into and out of which for anyone over 50 is highly relevant. More cubic feet for packing things in and just as quiet on the road. This video made me laugh more than once. Whichever model you buy, enjoy it!

Of course it is. I just test drove them back to back in AWD LR form. The model Y has a worse ride, more NVH, worse seats, and the cabin materials are inferior. It feels dated. If you don’t need the added space, you’d be stupid to buy it.

I prefer the model 3

same, i wish that .99% apr was being offered for it. The Y is alright but it looks too bubbly or bulky
