Note this reviewed WRX is the new “TR” spec for 24, with Brembo’s, Recaro seats, 19” alloys, retuned suspension and steering, rear torsion brace and Eyesight. Hence the higher cost. If you want the Limited or Premium WRX specs, they can still be purchased for low to mid $30k.

@bjammin187 In Canada, the "RS"(which is the TR equivalent) is actually slightly cheaper than the "Sport-tech"(which is the Limited equivalent).

Nice review. Do you find the eyesight module to take up a lot of your vision when you are in the driver's seat compared to last years model?

Thank you! I mean when I sat in the drivers seat it has big windows so you can see really well from the inside.

Does the turn signal lever stay in the position you set it in, or is it still the BMW style lever where it returns every time?

The new car turn signal lever go back to there normal position after you made or turn

This is one of the negatives that I did not like with the 2022+ wrx is the sigal lever which I never got used to it. Sometimes, when trying to stop the signal, you go the opposite side but I accidentally push it to the point where it was signalling the other way making me look like a noob driver lol. I’ve had it for a couple years. The biggest upgrade this year for wrx is wireless apple carplay/android auto with all models since they change/upgraded the base wrx screen (dual screen) into the same 11” screen that you get from premium up. And the eyesight with manual was added this year as well and a bigger master brake cylinder. Pretty much the same 22 model wrx beside all those upgrades plus higher msrp due to those upgrades. Get the 2023 models now which Subaru dealers are selling for $3-4k under msrp

I’m from Canada and this version is called the RS rather than the TR. exact same car from what I can tell, but no premium sound system…kind of strange :/ I like the seats and the brakes, but want a premium sound system as it will be my daily.

@@david_coulter I have the sport-tech. It's nice. Are you racing the car? If so, the brembo's will be an asset. If not, it won't matter.

@@steve8803 thats my thing i don't plan on taking it to the track. Although I don't like the look of the stock callipers, I know brembos are overkill for my purposes lol. Will likely get the sport tech, probably a 2023, not sure if i need the eyesight for the additional cost

subaru is one of the few car brands where majority of their cars are sold brand new under msrp. so idk where you getting this 50k number from
