It really does help to finger press and bend back the notebook. I’ve done mine a few times and it’s perfect. Now you just kinda have to break it in. Catherine from Sterling ink explains the process in one of her videos.

I missed what you called the Jupe of the vanishing point? I did own the vanishing point, but I couldn’t get on with it so I sold it but I’ve been forcing myself to use Fountain pens this year so I would like to try the Jupe

All of my covers are from Libertaz. He does custom sizings so you can get any cover size for your planner. I have a separate video that explains it but the storefront is at Etsy.
