2024 Snake Island Hog Deer Hunt
In Victoria, we are allowed to hunt hog deer in the month of April with a tag (1 male and 1 female) unless you are drawn on a ballot which run by Blond Bay Hog Deer Advisory Group.
These public land balloted Hog deer hunts runs on :
Blond Bay (mainland),
Boole Poole Island,
Snake Island .
3 years ago, i was lucky to be drawn first time on this ballot and hunt Boole Poole island which was successful.
This year, i was fortunate to be drawn at another island, Snake Island and had great time and success.
All this costs $25 to enter.
Many thanks again to my friends and family who helped and supported me.
Hopefully one day I will be lucky enough to be drawn to hunt Blonde Bay to complete the trifecta 😊.

I had the same in 2021 I hunted cow swamp period 1 those bloody cows nearly busted my hunt but managed a nice 15.5 inch in cow swamp and a doe on day one

Do you have to carry your water in or is there water around you can purify and drink?
