Thank you for the comment. I have teased the rider that the countdown for races 1/2 was on three. Watching closely you'll see he jumps everytime. Race 3 was his most honest run lol. I have since gone stage 1 plus (13/18 , intake and 8500 AGR tune). Asking for a rerun. Still can't get a response lol

I have a Seadoo 2021 GTX Limited and just bought the 325 RXTX. Even though the 325 is faster, I noticed something even more interesting. The hull is the same but for some reason, the ride is a lot smoother and the steering is a lot smoother too. If you're unsure about getting the 325, it's totally worth the upgrade.

The RXT-X does have a different sponson design than the GTX. For the 2024 RXT-X , Sea-Doo does advertise them as "X Sponsons", am guessing the improved water engagement is what your reporting. I think the "smoothness" your attributing could be from those generational differences.

I noticed the exact same the thing!!! The 325s are waaay smoother!! It’s hard to go back to the 300 after riding the 325s lol. And even though it’s only 25 hp more than the 300 it feels waaaaay faster!!!I’m sooo glad I upgraded as well.

No doubt, the 325 is fast. But I cancelled my 325 order and bought an FX instead. In the end, I wanted something that could handle rough water better. The st-3 hull design isn't the best. I literally watch videos of the st-3 and people sawing away on the handlebars trying to go in a straight line. The delay in the turning is horrific. I can trade off some top speed for a better overall experience. I do like the 325 in some ways like everything from the water line up is excellent, storage is a ++, the engine and supercharger are excellent, but that hull is what ruins the ski. 90 % of my riding is on rough water, so rough water ride quality is #1. Speed is secondary, and anything that can go 80 is unlikely going to be useable when it gets super rough anyway. If all you want is top speed on smooth water, then buy a 325. For everyone else, I suggest looking at the FX. Also, the stage 1 on the FX is basically the limiter removed, the stage 1 + is also a tune, and it will get you to the low 80's.

@@28gbb The GP is a smaller hull with less V than the FX. It's not considered a rough water hull. But it handles excellent for what it's intended. I went to the FX from a VXR which is the same hull shape as the GP. I personally didn't like the rough water with the vxr. On calm smooth water its perfect.

The Yamaha is running a stage 1 tune, the RXTX is running a stock tune with an international speed limiter. A tuned RXTX 325 will reach 85mph+ which has been seen with 325's running unlocked or aftermarket ECU's.

@@jakgal041 Agreed. The svho is a 14 year old engine that has minimal generational upgrades to what is observed with the 325 Rotax. This generation SD 325 has significant upgraded parts from factory (larger fuel pump, larger injectors, new prop, supercharger, rideplate, new intake ) and a block with stage 2 like internal components (springs, camshafts, bearings, Pistons, rocker arms and stronger block). Dont lower your IQ and claim this as a "stock" fortified engine ( that being the case a Bugatti is stock). Its basically a built engine from factory, stage 2 comparable, in a class of its own. Kudos to the brand. I am all for it. The purpose of this video was to show a performance comparisons for what basic mods to an FX SVHO would result in compasion to the new seadoo 325 (built from factory). To play into the BS, allow Yamaha to do the same , for an equal playing field perspective. Then we can talk. We already know Yamaha is working on a new 1.9L SVHO engine, with similar 325 upgraded modifications. Let's sit back and see the results, time will tell 😉

So the only time the yamaha (w a stage 1) beat a stock rxpx325 was when the rxpx failed to launch at the start. It didn’t even come out of the water until the camera guy looked back…. The other two races dont count bc of rough water tho lmao yamaha is the champion of off shore tho! Right? Soooo rough water should have made the seadoo look worse… but it killed the yamaha until the seadoo slept on the last races take off lmao😂

The yam 1800 can take all you throw at it on stage 1. These motors are built to take much higher rpms. Pushing over 9k, I'd agree, long runs at WOT no bueno. For lower rpm, not as critical IMO. Personally, I don't like to subject the motors to dead stop launch, rolling much less likely to bounce the limiter. People cheat on the start even more when rolling though 🤪
