I did not build my Maestro as a damage dealer. Instead, my gameplay revolves around as an offensive support (kind of like Pos 5 CM in DOTA 2), harassing and disrupting players while, from time to time, giving support buffs to my team.
My strategy has always been the same - Bewitch people and remove their capability to reinforce their teammates. If I can't "kidnap" people, then I will FORCE them to focus on me or else lose their SP in the process. I did not max out the offensive part of the skill tree, opting for support skills instead. I only put one point in Reverberation because I need its continuous trap damage, resulting to it proccing Bewitch from time to time (as per shown in the first match).
Frigg's Song (new Song of Lutie) will have all the benefits of Song of Lutie (Poetic and additional heal when out of field for 20s) and Unlimited Humming (free SP regen per second) is a passing buff that I can give my teammates. Moonlight Serenade is a huge escape tool (+40% MSPD and almost 20% Max HP) that can give me and my teammates a good boon over others.
I am enjoying this class a lot, albeit I really need more time to press more buttons and not be passive (too many buttons from Minstrel to Maestro). I also need some more buttons since I really need to fit in Song of Violence (think BKB + Aegis) and Song of Resurrection.
And I will be testing one more thing in DD Wednesday...
