Tried the F40 for the first time last night and it was great. I have been using the F20 and was on the verge of giving up on a full mask. However, fearing my mouth opening I was going to switch to the F30i. The office I go to was out of stock and asked me if I wanted to try the F40. I am so glad they had no stock of the F30i. The F40 was so much better on my face than the F20. I can roll over on my side and have no issues. My mask seal was at an all time low of 1.2 last night With the F20 I was seeing anything from 15-25 on average, and sometimes even higher. From a sizing standpoint I was sized with a standard headgear and a large mask. I was measured to fit into a Medium mask; however when I tried on both the medium and large I found the large was more comfortable because it gave me a little more room on each side of my mouth, as well as underneath my bottom lip. Like I said above, I think this mask is great and a huge improvement from the F20. All of my scores were good and I slept with it for 7.11 hours. My events per hour was 1.2, which is good on its own, but I thought it would have been higher trying a new mask for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the results.

My F20 is giving me up to 120 ML leak per minute. Absolute garbage. I haven't been able to regularly meet my required usage. I ordered the F40 on my dime because I'm fed up with being exhausted and feeling severely unhealthy. I even take the F20 off in my sleep.

I have fit 4 of my patients for this mask over the last few weeks. 100% give it an A+! They say it is lightweight (compared to the F30, I agree). The tubing in the front is huge improvement over the F30 and it is much more slimline. Our only concern is how it would hold up over time due to the silicone being much softer.

I have suffered from near-incapacitating fatigue despite my APAP treatment (AHI 0-1.0 and leak 0-8.0). Your suggestion to use the "PILLOWS" setting with the F&P EVORA mask made me sleep well for the first time in two years and feel refreshed after the night. Big thanks to you. Your comment really changed my life and returned colors to my world. Even though it's only been a week with the new setting, I can really say that I'm a new person. THANK YOU MATE

Thank you for this information! I ordered and just received my NEW F40 (Standard headgear, Medium Cushion) today. Fitting it right now to wear tonight. What difference! I have been using a F30(M) for the last three years and this F40 seems to feel like wearing almost nothing at all! By-the-way, the F40 fitting card is almost worthless for determining what to order (for me). Especially not having the card without getting the F40 first. Since I was used to the F30(M) I was able to predetermine the best sizes to order. If I hadn't been following your channel I would not have heard about this new mask for some time to come. Again, Thank You for keeping up on new product and CPAP issues for us!

I have been using the F40 for about a month now. The issues that I have had to overcome: 1. The sizing - I have had to order a Large mask/pillow. I am a mouth breather. While sleeping, my nose clogs up no matter what I do or try, genetics. I use a Medium on an F30i. The F40 size I ordered was regular based on the F30i. Apparently, I have a "big head" so I had to reorder the large mask and head gear. I wish there had been a way to try on the F40 before I ordered it. 2. I am a side sleeper. Therefore I have had to go to a "soft" pillow. I was using a medium/firm pillow. The firm pillow will move the whole mask off of my face while sleeping. Probably being completely bald doesn't help (slippy head/slippy mask). 3. I was having many "poor mask fit" messages at first. It turned out to be the seal on the water tank! The higher pressure using the F40 was blowing-back through an OLD (6 months +) tank seal. New tank, no messages All told, once I got through the issues ("problems") I LOVE the F40! Not claustrophobic, light weight, cool wearing, no peripheral vision problems, no pressure points. My only continuing complaint is the complex (fiddley) disassembly/reassembly of the mask for cleaning. Yeah a whole extra 45 seconds to clean the mask. I am a central apnea patient - I cannot live without this. Literally!

With it, i can’t help but be annoyed by the plastic edge where the mask meets the skin around the mouth. Does this sound familiar to you? Might you have any advice? For context, I’m a CPAP noob.

It doesn’t seem to be in any of the videos either. If anyone knows, please share. I’ll be speaking with my doctor this week and will definitely be ordering one of these.

Hi Paul, if you have an AS10 then you can use SleepHQ.com (my platform) and you can change the setting and see A. how you feel (it will increase the airflow velocity slightly so there's potential of more mask leaks) and B. How your charts/data look. It won't make a huge amount of difference but it will add a slight pressure compensation/airflow compensation to adjust for the added resistance. Put simply, the fan will spin a bit faster. Cheers

Please answer my 3 question ..i am from india ...and very stressed for my father....what precaution should i take to ignore central events...please share your own personal experience ...what precaution you should take?? 1. My father has a deviated nasal septum nd sleep apnea with ahi 46 , he is currently using cpap but some studies suggest that septoplasty can cause central apnea in future... but how? 2. My father getting aerophagia without Epr so ...he use Epr at 2 level ..my question is if he is having central apnea caused by Epr in future so what should i do???..currently he is using apap pressure minimum 8.8 to max 10.2 ...and Ahi is 2 sometimes 1.6 3) how can i lower my father Ahi under 1.0 ? Currently Ahi is between 1 - 2 and maximum 95 % pressure goes to 10.0 ...so what should i do...we dont have oscar support because we are middle class people and use resmed airstart 10

Can you please help people like me who get rash from silicone? Currently using Evora With cloth cover. Do have some leaking. My pulmonologist says the silicone allergy is much more prevalent than the manufacturers admit! I like your reviews, but I wish you would address silicone sensitivity. Thanks.

Replace the cushion every month, that is a big FAIL. My Evora Full cushion was still going strong after 18 months, it was the headgear that finally fell apart. I have kept the cushion as a spare!

Razor companies will give you the razor... Cause now you have to keep coming back for the blade$. Here... The CPAP company will charge you thru the nose for the accessories... And still make you pay thru the nose over and over in 30 day increments. No freebies here.

There's some forums where someone blamed these little bitty magnets for weakening their dental implant to where it was removed. I'm like seriously you'd have to walk under one of those car demolition giant crane magnets to get a dental implant weakened. Truth be told implants are only guaranteed for 10years for a reason.

HOPE ResMed has “IMPROVED” THEIR HARNESS STRAP(S)!!! Unfortunately, the straps on ResMed’s Mirage FX and Quatro Air are GARBAGE. With 12+ years CPAP usage, these harness straps need replacing after just six months. Why? Because (1) the loop-side fabric sheds to non-adherence AND (2) the straps lose their modest elasticity. Plus the two Velcro strips are too damn short - sometimes pulls apart when turning over. I’m fed-up and finally seeking alternative head gear. ==>>Have you read this ResMed?

You know what really gets me? Is that everything is about the dollar. No offense intended Nicko but if your like me, living in a country town the chance of finding a good sleep clinician is zip. Then to sign up for your forum is expensive for a person on the pension and now you couple that with your free advertising for already overpriced resmed products. Shame on you Nicko.... $90 dollars for a little plastic pillow..,... really!!!!!!

Yes, i’ve put my heart and soul ( and life savings ) into building another platform but i also have a great free version of that also. I live a very simple life mate( still driving a rusty old 2016 ford ranger ) but i have 4 kids and a wife to take care of so got to make a little coin for them. I understand the frustration but please don’t take it out on me mate xox 🍻🤙
