I dig the new Inquisition, it’s more atmospheric/hypnotic. I also like the older sound, but cool to change it up.

Loving that Departure Chandelier. Hard as a Coffin Nail is a banger, chorus is hella catchy and punky.

It’s been stuck in my head since it released. So well written!

Been jamming the new Inquisition album exclusively for the past week, definitely did not disappoint. They are great at staying true to their own sound while giving each new album a unique feel, and I feel like both this one and Black Mass specifically did a great job of being very unique in the discography.

I only found out about Departure Chandelier's new album after watching your video. Thanks, I'll definitely have to give it a listen. I really enjoyed their debut back in 2019.

Love the new Departure Chandelier. I’d honestly say Antichrist…might be recommended for someone just getting into black metal? Pretty accessible. This release is right behind it in terms of being able to separate the individual songs. One of my faves of 2024 along with the new Dipygus!

Wow great minds - I literally just discovered Dipygus last night - good shit ! Gonna get Inquisition next month- got all the others on vinyl, love his Popeye vocals

Nice picks dude. Audio sounds great btw. And Departure chandelier is fucking great, they have this sustained feeling of a sort of fucked up vastness. The theme of revolution and war is really embodied in it. , that inquisition vinyl package was perfect. I haven't checked that album out because I just learned that weird shit the member was accused of but honestly inquisition is absolutely one of a kind and I want to listen to this new one after hearing you talk about it.

As someone who have never been a fan of any Inquisition release I must say that their newest album is really enjoyable. One contributing factor to this is them going with shorter songs. Departure Chandelier also solid, up to par with their previous release.

I'm really diggin the new Amigo. It's such a good mix of his sound evolution. Lots of Tom Waits and Nick Cave influence in there. So far my favorite since the Volume 1 stuff.

Appreciate the heads up on Amigo, great stuff, really reminds me a lot of Tom Waits, albums like "Rain Dogs" or his later work "Real Gone".

I’ll watch this tomorrow but already i noticed that, we can hear the background music finally

Haven’t been a big fan of inquisition due to the vocals but i will give their new one a spin as i have liked some of their material, btw this is my second/main account, if you know me, i go by davidcwk on youtube but this is my own account, that account is shared with my father, also croaky grandma vocals is a great description 🤣

As someone who likes a bit of country and bluegrass along with my metal, I think I will have to check out that last one. Sounds interesting.

Those guys on the cover are too ape-like to be Neanderthals, maybe more like Australopithecus. Did you know that you (and nearly all humans) have a small amount of Neanderthal DNA? I've done a DNA test and for me it's somewhere around 2%. This doesn't really have anything to do with the video, but I think it's cool lol. Will definitely be checking Dipygus out
