I have tried a reading journal in the past, for 2022, but ended up not keeping up with it. I love the ideas you have for yours, especially using stickers, stamps, and printouts that you can put into it. I think if I’m not hand drawing everything that goes into my journal,it will help me keep up with it. What do you do with the rest of the pages? I was using them for a more detailed review of books I read but was curious what you do.

@@Bookish888 I use a few pages each month. So a January page decorated with a list of what I want to read that month (If I am reading something for a bookclub or readathon), then on the next page I write down each book that I read that month. I tried writing reviews or showcasing one book I loved each month, but I just never kept up with it. If I already do a review here on youtube and write one for goodreads, its felt too redundant to do it in my journal. I will probably also record a flipthrough of my 2023 to show what it looks like done

@@Kritz_ReadsI would definitely be interested in a flip-through! We saw a few things from your 2023 journal in this video, but it would be great to see a page by page with commentary on what worked and what didn’t. 👍

Thank you! I'm kind of obsessed with it, and have been working on it the last few weeks. Excited to start using it soon! Do you journal at all? I might set up a bujo as my planner this year as well. I usually use a pre-made one

lol I actually screen shotted all of your pages. They are so dang cute. I wanted to remember some of your layouts. Especially the Laymon page. I’m getting all of those books together for that read along. It’s gonna be so fun. Along with Elizabeth Sagewoods gothic reads. I think I’ll make a page for that as well. loved this so much. Thanks for showing it to us. 😉

I like the idea of having a page for each bookclub! I'm glad you liked the lay outs. I feel like such a nerd, but I can't wait to start using this new journal

Omg that book club page is genius! Need to add that to my set up 👀 the peaches 😂😂🍑honestly so many spreads I’m gonna have to add to my 2024 journal! Amazing journal!!💜💜

Give it a shot! Mine started out way more simple. It is a great way to keep track of readathons and whatnot, and I love looking back at what I read

This looks SO GOOD! im seriously so inspired. I think this will be my year to finally do a journal myself😆. im such a perfectionist and hate my handwriting and am not creative lol but this seems so fun!!! Thanks for all the tips and info on stickers, etc.

I'm also a perfectionist, which kept me from making one of these for awhile. It was a learning process to let go of that and not compare myself to people who have been doing it for a long time. I hope you give it a go! It is a fun creative outlet

The peach washi tape is sooooooooo cute Your reading journal looks so good!!! I was thinking of not doing one this year but now I am having second thoughts 🤣

aw, you might regret not doing one! I def. go through phases of being more into it at times than others, but I love looking back at what I read. I forgot to mention I got a lot of the peach washi from this planner kit ---> plannersanon.com/products/peach-promenade-planner-kit

I love this! I also like your version of the read what you own challenge. Gotta be realistic, ya know. I love all the tracking and organizing ideas you’ve implemented. Nothing beats the rump spread tho!!! I love how you ran with the 🍑🍑🍑 theme 😂 Nicely done 👏🏻

I love this. I'm also using a Halloween journal from A&O for my reading journal but I'm using the one with the skull and books on the cover. I've done reading journals in the past, but I always get about halfway through and then I stop using them. This past year, I didn't make one at all because I have been in such a slump. I read literally 2 books this year. By the end of the year, that might be up to 4 books. So I set my goal to be much lower than it has been in the past to see if that helps with my motivation. I'm only allowed to buy 2 books this year (because I'm a completionist and I have the rest of the set of Dark Olympus books by Katee Robert) so I'm not tracking that so much, but I'm still going to track all of the books I've read... especially if they're books that I already have on my shelves at home!

It is def. hard to keep up with things when life gets busy. Motivation to read or journal (or anything, really) can go up and down - but I hope you find your reading groove again in 2024!

Oh my goodness! I want to make one for 2024 , I made a half creative one for the read what you own but I would love to make a really cute one 😊

I have so much Halloween washi/stickers/etc and I just hoard them! Figured it was time to put them to use. It is hard not to laugh everytime I open my book and see all them peaches

If you get a mono sand eraser it will take off the ink in places you didn't intend. 😊
