Wow I can’t believe this was your first reading journal-it looks so good and like you’re a pro at it. I love the ideas you had for all the visual tracking, and the plants on shelves are so well drawn and cute! That’s a great idea to have the spin on the brackets, I never do one because I’m worried about the situation yours helps avoid 😂 Can’t wait to hear how you end up liking this later into the year.

i also use the micheals brand haha!! they’re actually pretty good 🙈 but mine didn’t come with an index this year so that’s a win hehe. i love your setup so much!!! 💝

yes , like I read 170 books this year I did not want a big shelfy with no like plants or decor either! so these specific goal ones I think are such a cute way to go! thanks for watching!

I'm excited for us all to read these books!

I love a shelfie - so visually satisfying. So I appreciate your creative uses such as for series. I also like book covers for the designs. You could make a little flip out of the key for the rating colors in the front. I find that useful. I am not a big data tracker as I read too much to spend time counting pages and hours per day spent reading. I read every day unless I am travelling and busy with something. Even then I read on my iphone. I have a multi-year reading journal and have a big shelfie for each year. I also did an all-time favorite books spread, a favorite authors spread. Plus a few for individual favorites like Jane Austen and Poe. I did a series spread for Bridgerton and for the LotR trilogy. For 2024 I will start a reading around the world challenge.

This journal you have put together is absolutely incredible, I am still drawing mine out. I use a B5 size spiral bound book I found on Amazon. I am just hoping if I keep mine simple and don’t over complicate it then I will easily carry it on throughout the year. I couldn’t pick one spread on its own of your I liked as it was all just beautiful, 10/10 🖌️✂️✍️🎨

Yeah this is really hard, my tip is to mess up early cause sometimes it just takes the pressure off for later if I mess up. And I try to remind myself I wouldn't be judging / dislike someone else's for perfectionism things so why am I so harsh on mine. But I get it's really hard and not for everyone. But I always think it's worth trying if you want
