Perhaps, but everything was fresh reset from the factory with roughly 35 showing on the Odo. They also need to drive it to the different plant for the spray in bed liner. Either way, I had it sideways on dry pavement within the first 5 miles. They aren't gonna do anything I wouldn't!

​@mxer652 it very well could have been an fcpa audit at the factory. However, I doubt the quality manager would allow the raptor line up to do anything more than an LTIS (low time in service) drive, or about 8-12 miles. I work at KCAP and was conducting fcpa audits before I left for the Easter Saturday morning. As far as I know the spray in bed liner should have been installed at the dealer. All in our area do it in house except the few the sub out to line-x that has a mobile rig now. Either way, that thing was loaded on a transport trailer to your dealer with 12-13 miles max.

@@manslifealfresco4545 I ordered mine in February and I received an email from the dealer yesterday that mine was being made today. But I won't get it for a few weeks.

I am able to get similar mileage on highway... I am only at 500 miles but my last fillup from a full tank to almost empty and filled again was 15.1 mpg haha. This time I am trying to 'hyper mile' it and get closer to 20+ mpg to see if that is doable. great video!

Yeah, I know these trucks are not built for mpg, but mine will be my daily, so it's nice to see what they can do. I hope to get more and better videos out... This one was kind of spur of the moment.

@@mxer652 absolutely man... I am in the same boat... this is my daily driver as well and I don't regret it at all! I have been making daily videos as well about my raptor. If you get a chance, would you mind crawling under (or just putting camera under) and looking to see if your driveshafts are all rusty like mine were?

If you stay out of the boost and drive it like grandma probably ok. If your driving it like that just get the reg ranger

Nailed it! I plan to do my mpg runs down out towards K-zoo and back.

I finally decided to get rid of my 2014 ford escape in favor of the new ranger raptor. Thankfully I was able to get mine for MSRP. Mine will be ready sometime in May.

That is for the exhaust mode being in Baja.

I considered a Ranger Raptor but the lack of availability (hard enough to get the ZR2), extra price and absurd dealer markups made me get a 2024 ZR2 instead. The first tank was maybe 15mpg, but the last in the same 80+ mph highway/ mixed driving and some mild offroading was 17.6 (calculated, the display showed 18.1), and now that I've got over 600mi on it, the display is showing 19mpg in roughly the same conditions. I use only premium gas (I think with the turbo it really helps with power and mileage) and have my tires at 43psi (recommended is 36/max is 50psi so I averaged it) and I think both help with mileage. When I do anything more difficult down the road than the mild offroading I've done I'll probably lower it to maybe 28. Best of luck with it and enjoy it!

😂 dealer markups. Go to one that doesn’t have markups and sells at msrp. Town and country ford in Alabama does it so don’t say “ there ain’t none”

Yeah man, you pretty much had to order one to not get shafted. The ZR2s seem like an extremely good option as well! I'd love to do a comparison between one some day.

@@gkm8486 good luck. I've seen multiple dealerships claiming they can't do orders and it's just based on allocations. And the dealers that do have one are already charging 80+k for them

@@smallz002 yeah the 3 other dealers I went to before finding the one only had 1 allocation to order the raptor trim. One of them had a $10k mark up. The one I found sold to me at MSRP, I ordered mine March 21st, called the dealership the week after order and they said Ford took the order but still didn’t have a build date. Hopefully I’ll get a build date soon, I think some are saying at least 3 months after getting theirs ordered, hope it don’t take almost a year after ordering lol.

I have a 2024 Ford ranger SXT, and I’ve noticed that the mileage is 7-12mpgs with around 55.3miles driven. Should I be worried about this, as it’s extremely low for some reason ??
