if you wanna stick flip a mallet you can add some spin on it by letting it roll off your fingers for the flip. makes it sooooooooo much easier

Very unique percussion ensemble impressive and classic if you like that type of sound my original teacher when I was three was a Vibra harpist from drum land in the tenderloin Vern Walton started me when I was three taught me at home and practice upstairs of the top sky room the good old days

Dayton finals this year are going to be insane. You should totally find freedom percussion in the lot, they're going crazy this year.

Is there any march or april lot vids? I can't find any anywhere of pulse. I imagine they are peaking at a crazy level and want to see haha

What’s that muted metallic sound around 1:45 after the quad moment? Kinda sounds like a muted cymbal or some sound patch. Kinda funky

This is looking like a 3 peat for Pulse. No one in the west has been within 2 points. The midwest folks are about 5 to 7 points behind. There's still 2 full months left and Pulse had a 92.4 at a WGI show. Let's see what happens when everyone gets their full show out there. Pulse only has about 30 seconds left to add. RCC knows how to peak at the right time. They almost caught Pulse last year. At this rate, looks like Pulse will have a 113 at finals.

The female vocal in the beginning is from MUNA’s “Grow” but the music we play is original beyond that, then there’s the Pussycat dolls arrangement for mvt 2, and the closer is original music.

My question is. Is this show better than Pulse 2017? I think pre pandemic pulse is better just my opinion. I just think some of these shows are not well thought out yea they play clean I guess but there’s just no emotion. Only group that does that now is Infinity and maybe Monarch. Like what are they gonna get in Dayton a 99? Something just seems fishy and getting above a 90 without a complete show! Let’s put it into more perspective with a group that rehearses and does more shows. The Blue Devils didn’t even break an 80 at their first show this past year. Check out the recap from finals last year Pulse only won 1 caption and that was music but by only 3 tenths. They came 3rd in music effect and still won. I’m not here to put down members because they work hard. To me something feels off.

First this isn't Pulse's first show. It's the first WGI regional for SoCal but Pulse already had multiple performances before this. They also realistically only have about 30-60 seconds of show left. Another thing is this show is designed incredibly well on the floor. Pulse isn't getting these numbers out of thin air. Practically no one else has a better show design AND plays cleaner then them currently. Just because you like a previous show doesn't subtract from the current or previous years show. Also historically Pulse has broken 90 at the Temecula Regional before. There is a reason they are a top 5 group and back to back champions.

cleanliness, this is much better. Actual show-wise? Pulse 2017 is leagues better. Ever since 2020, it's been very unintruiging ngl. Just constant vocals telling us the most vanilla stories

I think it’s fair to say that these shows are perfectly worthy of the scores they’re getting. Early season or not, this group is 🔥 and there’s no doubt they are where they are because of their incredibly levels of skill.
