I give a lot of credit to Elon for pushing the bar. With that said, the Taycan already had a nicer interior and drove better outside of the 0-60. It was only a matter of time until a company like Porsche developed something faster than Tesla (outside of the million+ super cars). They have been doing this for 75 years and can build race cars. The only downside I see with this particular model compared to Tesla will be price. You're looking well north of $250,000 for a Porsche Turbo GT. My biggest issue with Porsche's electric vehicle lineup in general is the lower range, especially on the less expansive models. With that said, I don't really see the issue on a $250,000 car as anyone who can afford this probably has a few other vehicles that they can dip into for long trips.

I love a swan-neck wing but for me this car should have a super extendable wing, not a fixed all-out racy one. The 2-door will come a bit later in 718 guise, that one shall have the more radical set-up and looks ;)

even if plaid is "faster" it loses performance WAY more than Porsche does as the battery lowers.. Not to mention, the interior of the Taycan is so far superior to the Tesla.. As well as the looks and brand cachet where Porsche beats Tesla.

I don't think the purpose of this car is to beat the Plaid because that already happened in 4/2022 when the Taycan clocked a better time than the Plaid despite the huge power difference. And Tesla didn't have an answer for over 1 year. Not to mention that in the List of Nürburgring Nordschleife lap times the time 07:25 is moved to Non-series/non-road-legal due to used tires that are not allowed in the EU on the road, which Tesla was well aware of.

Just look at this that way, a Trashla bet a twice as expensive PorschEE in its home turf. They are road legal tires, just not in Germany. I hope you can afford sometimes a Porsche and be happy so that you must not be mad at Trashla and the Teslaimps.
