My youngest Son, James, who is 31 years old was struggling to keep his hand under the ball bowling one handed, so I suggested that he watch some two handed bowling videos the day before we were planning to go bowling together. He thought that might be a good idea, so he found several two handed bowling videos, including some of Belmo's, and the next day we bowled and on just the 4th game trying out two handed bowling, James bowled a 211 and hit 6 strikes in a row. This is by far his highest bowling score ever, and needless to say, he is sold on bowling two handed from now on.

The PBA wanted a Bayside Bowl atmosphere...and they got it. It was just as annoying here as it is at Bayside. It will stop as soon as a "sucks" chant goes up for any of the bowlers...hopefully that happens soon and ends the chaos.

Do you want our sport to grow? Do you want the younger generations to get involved to further the longevity of the sport? Do you want sponsors to pick the pba up and provide a bigger payout to the people who deserve it? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then you SHOULD be in favour of loud bowling cause that's what's accelerating the growth of bowling. The game has changed from the ABC days Edit* the turkey noises were really bad though and silent bowling has its place*

I agree it is annoying. I guess Goofy/wannabe Kyle, finally woke up and got rid of the Afro, realizing he's not African-American like half of my race.🤬🤬🤬🤬. Willie Willis the Sgt.At Arms for the PBA Tour back between 1978 to 85 who was African-American and stood 6-1 weighing 225 built, would've ripped that pick out of Kyle's hair. He doesn't have half the class that his father Guppy did.

These pros have serious focus to function in that environment. I turned the sound down but this was really difficult to watch. The fast panning with the crowd in the background made me motion sick. Shooting over the right or left shoulder showing the shot is probably what most of the people watching came to see. If you want to show the crowd, please don't pan and turn the sound down.

Hi! I'm the person behind the camera. I have to sit in a very specific place to film during the television shows so that I'm out of the view of the television cameras. It's not the best angle, so I have to do what I can with what I have. I have a lot more freedom to move around during practice and during qualifying and match play. -Jillian

Thanks to the person that filmed this; I know you had restrictions and you did a great job regardless. @pba Please stop the chanting, it feels like college dorm room beer pong championships. It seems to cheapen the sport. I like the cheering and audience participation after the player releases before that I’d rather hear the commentators.

Hi!! Thanks for that! The noise level during the show was definitely a new experience that I’ve not had to contend with outside of the league event each year. I’m working on the final episode and I’m trying to find a balance between crowd noise and still hearing the pins fall since that’s an important part of the experience of watching bowling. We’ll see how it goes! But thank you for the encouragement -Jillian

Watched bowling all my life... It sure has gone from a respectful and quiet crowd while the bowler concentrates, to an absolutely immature crowd that sounds like a drunken sports bar where the patrons want to be the stars of the show. I really hope this isn't what we are going to see (hear) in the future..If so, I'll just watch highlights with the volume off from now on instead of plan a day in front of the tellie..
