as a traditional debater, can someone explain why are they speaking so fast? Id would get points docked off on speaker score if I spoke this fast in NSDA Debate.

Parli is kinda like ld ld has 2 forms circuit and trad. Most people find trad (I’m in the west cost which is more circut based) boring and it isn’t as competitive. Circut it’s more about the arguments v trad which is more of appealing to the judge.
