You have to look at this just for entertainment. It’s just a guess from what the teams added, lost and players added from the first round in the draft mostly. No one knows what future HOF could’ve been drafted or selected from the rookie FA. They trimmed a lot of liabilities on the roster and you are somehow projecting them to get the 7th overall pick? That's not happening unless Geno and Howell get injured or both play poorly. Also Rams at 9 is a bit high for a team that lost the one guy on D that makes OCs build the gameplan around him.

the afc is absolutely the gauntlet compared to the nfc. if your stance is based on points scored which is 100% valid, you have to compare afc points scored against nfc teams and vice versa. one of the only things i agreed with in the ranking was when they called the nfc top heavy. there’s a few nfc teams that are terrifying to play when you know they’re on schedule, but a lot of the bottom teams it’s not even worth watching the bloodbath. there’s fewer “bad” teams in the afc

Washington won't be anything spectacular, but no improvement over last year is an insane thought.

The best you can hope for now is former players who aren't idiots. Which definitely doesn't always happen. With the combination of the degradation of media quality. And increase in accessibility to games and film. If you keep up, It's pretty easy to notice when these kind of people make bad takes. The average gambling addict knows more about what is going on across a sport, than the average sports broadcaster.

@@dmac33 the bills lost a lot of talent, and other teams have added talent. I prefer tiers over rankings. I would put them on the same tier as the bangles and eagles. But eagles added more and bangles haven't lost as much. And I think teams like GB and Texans both have more talent overall right now, and are on the rise. But that is the problem with the bills current stage of their contracts.

Wins are the result of team play not just quarterback play. Kirk Cousins does NOT shrink in big games. His average playoff game has been better than Tom Brady's average playoff game even though he was sacked more than 3 times as often. Cousins may be the best pressure quarterback to play in many, many years. Pressure in big games and pressure of the defensive rush, he may be the best ever. Teams win and lose.

The Bengals did beat KC to go to the Superbowl but if you remember it was the week after the Chiefs and the Bills kicked the crap out of each other.

Hunger is what will derail the Chiefs not talent. Its what separated Brady he was never satisfied nor did he allow it.

They should’ve won the browns game putting them at 10-7 had it not have been for two crucial penalties called on the browns last drive, reversing a strip sack that Indy recovered on a horrendous call that, again, he nfl themselves said was a horrible call. That 10-7 would’ve also dropped CLE’s record to 10-7 with the colts having the tie breaker, meaning at the very least a wild card spot (I don’t know how it would’ve affected the HOU vs IND tie at that point). But again, all of that was with severe adversity, so my point is, seeing them outside of the teens is insane to me
