It’s a bad pick because Raiders have a lot of needs, TE was not one of them. It’s a luxury pick. It’s like you have a car, needs tires, check engine lights on, AC don’t work, but you choose to spend your money on shinny rims. ATL and Raiders picks were WTF. Everyone else did well. Nix will be a good match with Peyton :/

M. Sainristill was way underrated. If he was an inch or two taller, he would've been a top 10 pick.

Doesn't look like Hill. Hill is a couple inches shorter and 20lbs heavier and carved out of marble. Hill isn't as "small" as he's billed as, he's build like a tank. That's why he doesn't have the same problems so many "small" receivers have.

Atlanta made a genius move to get Penix Jr. Why does everyone not like this pick? Cousins is coming off an injury and he may not be fully healthy. He will only be there for maybe 2 years so, why not have his backup learning in the wings.

I look forward to seeing this revisited in a few years. But, I don't see any way how either this (or the huge deal for Kirk Cousins) won't hurt the Falcons. I'm very hopeful Nate Wiggins is gonna develop into another great defensive player on the Ravens.

Is it possible that Atlanta and another franchise have a plan for a trade involving Penix?

The only reason the Falcons drafted Penix was to screw up the draft board for the Vikings, probably due to the whole tampering fiasco. I am firmly convinced that Penix was KOCs choice over McCarthy for the simple reason that Penix is a pure pocket passer, which KOC values in his system. As soon as he was gone, Kwesi went to Plan B, which was McCarthy, but had to trade up to do it.

I don't think you draft a first round player just to hit back at a team, especially since the tampering fiasco was a self report and not created by the vikings. Also I don't agree O'Connell was higher on Penix than McCarthy, Maye yes but McCarthy was 2nd choice

I thought the Falcon pick was funny. The Vikings had to baby Kirk Cousins the entire time he was in Minnesota. Nobody was given a chance to compete or threaten Kirko's role as the undisputed starter. With Penix behind him Kirk no longer has that security blanket in Atlanta and I think it will effect him because he is a money guy, not a competitor.

Vikings aren't my favorite team, but JJ was a steal. In my opinion he's the best QB in the draft! Then to get one of the best defensive players in the whole draft. I think Minnesota had the best day one in the draft! Grade A+++++++

I disagree that the Lions gave up too much to trade up . When you have a poor team that needs a lot of help then you need players & then that might be too much to give up, but when you are a good team then you can fine tune your team & it makes sense to go for unique talent .

I remember people saying the same thing about the panthers last year. We need some tuff guards to protect CW. I'm a Bears fan but i ain't sold on none of this BS. We will be drafting early next year and the next year and the next year 😂😂😂

JJ was on a team stealing signs for his two years. Due to that he is an absolute unknown. It makes life a hell of a lot easier when you know what kind of defense you're facing.

Jayden Daniels 3. Bo Nix 4. Michael Penix Jr 6. Drake Maye 7. Caleb Williams The 💩 you say about Nix you can say about Williams. I didn't really like Caleb Williams watching his game. Caleb Williams ceiling will be Tarvaris Jackson and his floor Justin Fields. Drake Mayes floor will be Tim Couch and his ceiling is Carson Wenz. McCarthy floor Kirk Cousins ceiling Tom Brady lite Daniels Floor Tony Romo ceiling Aaron Rodgers Bo Nix Floor Case Keenum ceiling Alex Smith. It probably wouldn't hurt to actually watch the game that you are covering instead of just looking at analytics.

If talking the talk about looking the part was all it took to be a super star in the NFL, teams would only draft a QB once every 15 years

I actually think Bo w/ Sean Payton will be a very good pairing and outperform most of the QBs that went before him. And I hate the Broncos so I don't like admitting that.

JPJ is the best player at that position right now. Bears need a center. Trade up from 75 and 122 and get him.

Penix JR is a good pick my man from a bucs fan. He's the future. Kirk Cousins is a vet on his last legs he may retire after this season. Kirk was brought in to mentor the young qb. This was a smart move for the dirty birds.

Are you nuts?! Pearsall is awesome. He did great things for the gators our MVP last season. People kept thinking he drafted later on but I was like they don’t know him and anyone who does will snag him in the first. I was surprised it was the 49ers since I didn’t think you needed a WR but he is a solid pick IMO.

I took him consistently in my mock drafts. I liked him more than Legette. That said he was an early 3rd round pick for me, not a first rounder.

Biggest winner has to be either Chicago or Minnesota. Its hard to be upset with what they did. Biggest loser is easily Atlanta. QB was not that big of a need for them. Should've gone defense
