Austin, thanks so much for this server. I remember a long time ago BH Wyatt Jones was the first person to tell me about rp servers but I didn't have an understanding of what they were. Fast forward, I love what you've done. Over the interim of watching frustrations build with RS in our community and their lack of focus on RDO and you go from jokingly saying that you should just make your own server to doing it for us is kick ass! Thank you, your efforts are appreciated!

As someone who's just joined DRB and RedM for the first time, I'm so appreciative of how helpful the passionate folks at DRB are. The blood, sweat, and tears that have been poured into the county by the devs and all those involved is clear to see. This video is exactly what new folks like me need to help ease us in. Asking IC is important to make the experience truly immersive, but as a super shy person, this is really helpful to see completely laid out. Thank you Austin!

I just joined a couple of days ago and almost gave up because I didn’t have a clue about what to do first. After watching this video I’m so excited to try new things. One issue I just noticed is that my character didn’t get a bow & arrow, a bank voucher or anything like that 😢

Hey Austin, I finally managed to get myself on to Dakota River Bend inspired by your videos. I have a question. I cannot get my controller to work on DRB? I play RDR2 online with a controller via steam. It works perfectly. I just can't figure out how to link my controller to RedM. Is there a button in the steam controller settings to activate it? I note that RedM required me to open steam in order to plays I guess there is a link to steam. Any help you you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards......😊

DRB is not beginner friendly as they boast. I got permanently banned without notice and don't even know what I did. No communication from staff, and no ban appeal because their immature staff who can't accept criticism refuses to come back. You shouldn't be banning if you won't allow appeals or discussions. Community is toxic brats who go reporting everyone for anything. Staff just presses the ban button instead of discussing it with you. They treat you like you're not even a person who enjoys their work. They have no care for their players. Here I was enjoying myself and making many friends until the staff decided I did something wrong and won't even tell me what it is. They have abusive people carrying the ban hammer who lack any sort of human resource skills. You know, people choose to play on your server. And you just end their dreams and friendships. How about a discussion? How about a little respect for the new players you're supposedly "welcoming?" Perma-Banning is disrespectful authority abuse. I thought you wanted to welcome new players? How is a new player supposed to learn what not to do if you just permanently ban them? You give people just one chance to learn the pages and pages of unfamiliar rules, really? Banned on the first issue? Put your personal issues aside and be the respectable human resource staff position you applied for. I tried to step into the RP Genre and got banned right out without care. What if I have the potential to be one of the best and most active RPers on DRB? They have no care for the people who genuinely enjoy playing on their server. And it's sad the server is so toxic with the abusive authority. Thanks for giving a new RPer a taste of what DRB is really like. Bunch of people with no people skills abusing authority. You can see it in discord - the lack of respect from the staff towards their players. Most staff do not know how to treat people and have authority issues. Owner, the staff needs to be fired and look for better qualified people with actual care for the people they are managing. Players should not be perma-banned for 1 little mistake, that's ridiculous. Are we not people with the ability to communicate? Do your players mean nothing to you? The cut-throat mindset the staff has is not how you should treat people. Do you not remember your first time as an RPer? I bet you liked it when people were nice, understanding, and helped you learn. I bet you liked being treated well, didn't you? You should treat people the way you want to be treated. Would you like to be banned on a whim with no discussion, learning, or righting of wrongs? I bet you wouldn't want that, so why do you do it to us? Way to stand out as a server who welcomes new people, or welcomes people at all... internet bullies is what they really are. What a waste of my time and happiness making friends here, just to have it taken away from someone who just bans people and can't be bothered valuing players who choose to play on their server.

I am sorry this has happened but I can assure you we don't perma ban with out just cause. Our volunteer staff that have to take time out of their play time, to deal with unfortunately dozens of tickets a day, have a very detailed system with many levels of severity and a system so more then one staff are involved. All I can suggest is to wait for the systems to be reopened and send in an appeal.

You ask this stuff in the discord you get accused of meta game and get "Ask IC"d

I played red dead online ever since it came out and was soo sad when Rockstar killed it. This server though my god this is what rd online should have been day one im gonna have to check this out been soo long since iv been able to enjoy rd online and this roll play server seams more the sorta thing i would enjoy compared to the grind that is normal rd online
