2024 Never Summer Infinity Review - Snowboard Magazine 2024 Women's Board Test

Спорт

In spring 2023, Snowboard Magazine gathered a group of women snowboarders and went to Mammoth Mountain, California for a week of testing new 2024 snowboards. The goal was to find daily drivers, boards that perform well in a variety of conditions and make a great go-to pick no matter what you the terrain and conditions you ride this winter. The testers selected their six favorite snowboards as the best for the upcoming season. A favorite board that the testers felt was accessible to a wide-range of rider ability levels? The 2024 Never Summer Infinity. Go to www.snowboardmag.com to read the entire snowboard review and check out the other boards the testers picked.
If Iris Pham's season on the infinity wasn't enough to show you this board can kill a quiver, nothing can. The Infinity features Never Summer’s Original Rocker Camber profile with a Power Grip Sidecut and ptex nose and tail. The combination of features on this deck gives it all-terrain versatility you can trust. The fusion of rocker and camber translates to float in pow, forgiveness on rails, and playfulness when buttering, while the Power Grip sidecut acts like a serrated knife when initiated to ensure maximum edge control on this playful board. The Carbon VXR Laminate adds stiffness to the torsional flex of the board adding to the responsiveness.
Our testers enjoyed the playfulness of the Infinity and found it to excel in the park. “It’s very nimble edge-to-edge and it took no time getting used to it,” said Abby Furrer. Overall, the crew felt that the Infinity would be great for an individual looking to progress their riding, as it is easy to step on and go. “I love how lively and natural feeling this board was from the get-go,” added Abby. The Infinity did succumb to the spring chop at the end of the day more than others because of its rocker profile and softer flex, but this was balanced by the high level of enjoyment riding it outside of the slush.
Overall, you don’t need to be an aggressive rider to discover infinite terrain on this award-winning board. “The Infinity would be so great for anyone who might have started on a rockered board and wants to step it up to more of a cambered focused/ feeling board!” commented Abby. Overall, the Infinity’s playfulness is matched with predictability, passing our quiver killer exam.
