    This is a new era of Wizards basketball. We finally have a lot of young talents in our team. I'm excited for next season.

    I came away from this presser with a better feel for who Will Dawkins is. I respect this guy. He's obviously really sharp. He seems to have a good feel for the direction this franchise needs to go in. I think the Wizards are in the hands of an excellent GM.

    Wizards probably traded Deni cause nobody wanted to take on Kuz or Poole. Sad to see him go cause was a huge fan and saw his steady improvement every year since drafting him. Wish him luck in Portland.

    I think there is a market for Kuz. I was surprised when it was Deni instead of him. Poole will be starting again this year I fear in an effort to boost trade value before the deadline. We will see how that works out

    they definitely traded deni because value is high. we can’t disregard kuz isn’t on the market. 2 FRP 2 SRP and a vet or asset we can flip in brogdon for deni is an insane package you can’t pass up. kuz on the other hands we’re struggling to even get 2 FRP

Bub is an extremely talented lengthy guard that has the best pick and roll game and midrange game. hes 6'5 and still growing. george is your typical 3 and D guy that also has great vision. and all these guys are super young. theyre building through the draft. they picked great defenders that can also score. defense wins championships

    You mean like holding on to a player until no one really wants them, like Beal? This is the rebuild part of the tear it down process. There are better players than Deni out there to be had.

  • @EitanMelody

    @EitanMelody

    Ай бұрын

    @@phillydelphia8760 you can always find better players, you can't find winning culture, you can only build that. Tearing it up every 5 year usually doesn't lead to culture building or loyalty of any kind. You gotta remember if it's business first for the teams it's also business first for the players/ They can't sit around waiting a decade like Beal with chip, and the way Wiz let go of Deni now other DC players know there is no loyalty in Washington, it's strictly business, so if you don't get your DC chip quick might as well get out of there quick so you don't get trapped like Beal.

  • @phillydelphia8760

    @phillydelphia8760

    Ай бұрын

    @@EitanMelody they're building culture by doing this. Deni wasn't improving anything by himself, no matter how good a guy he might be. His body language and complaining on court were more of a potential issue than anything else he did. I don't think anybody tears a team down every 5 or so years like it's on a schedule. Washington has needed a real rebuild from the ground up for at least the last 5 or so years. Now it finally happens people aren't happy about it. There is plenty of loyalty in the organisation, to a fault really. That's why Kuz is still here after all. Deni likely got traded before him because no one was prepared to make a good enough offer for him. Deni was just a case of selling high, people are making too big a deal over him being traded just because he finally had a pretty decent, but ineffectual season.
