I was glad when he got switched to our Spurs. This kid is fundamentally sound in his basketball. He will make every Spur better

This kid will perfectly complement Wemby's game! He has that no fear mindset that Manu had as well.

Hi, from Spain, the kid has the talent, is a seriusly smart player. In Europe, he had done a very good first step playing like a leader in a profesional team un Germany in other country. In Spanish national selecction last year he perform better than expected showing that he is more important, mature or ready for hight level than we can predict. Other good point IS that he fits perfectly in San Antonio, with Pop, with wemby etc. His game style IS close to Mike conley right now so he has ability to understand the game in terms of what the team needs. Also sometimes he performs like a unexpexted brave player playing hard in terms of rithm of the game or unexpected agresive shots. The kid looks like the smarted player of the class, a bit like older conley or rondo(only in terms of smartness or game undersanding). So you can expect from him thinks like this, intangibles and thinks that is hard to teach more than just flash game, jump shots or hight numbers. Problems: lack of phisical conditions for the NBA looks like Sergio Rodríguez phisical conditions is more talented than him in terms of maturity at the same age, but less flash or magic than him. In defense he needs to improve. His other problem IS that his jump shot is not nba ready and IS still in progress. NBA ready? ... Nowdays how many players of 20 years old IS really ready to produce at a profesional level?. For me, maybe only in San Antonio because the mindset, ideal, lack of smart point guards. In a ideal sitiuation he shoud do the Next step like play in a more important team in Europe at a hight level.

Nuñez is a Real Madrid project, not Ulm. He didn't have space in Madrid last 2 years because Campazzo, Sergio Rodriguez and Llull were the point guards... too young for a team that wants to win every year. However he has a bright future in the NBA.
