It’s been great and stayed under that 2k mark. Now if I wanted something loud I would go with the new corsa.!! They did some magic with it to where it’s not so raspy on the 2024’s but also 26-2800$ I’m happy with the borla so are my neighbors🔥🤙🏽

Great sound! I've always loved the S-type tone on various platforms and have it on my C6 Corvette. The S550 platform was very loud and "blatty" with a lot of the aftermarket catbacks, but the S650 somehow sounds different so far.

I had Borla S type on my 2011 GT. I love the sound and quality. I also order from Beefcake Racing and I wasn’t impressed with them because my 1st exhaust arrived dented on both sides. They gave me the run around. I called Borla and they sent me a brand new exhaust, no returns or anything.

Car is fuckin phenomenal! You Filmin at sunset which just enshanced the beauty of your ride. When your girl was on the side of road and you rolled up. That silver on them rims looked so damn modern.. and the shot of the dash from passenger seat. With the new steering wheel and dash and the pink/magenta lights. Fuckin one bad ass car

Just ordered the new Borla S-Type built just for the dark horse and I got kooks 1 7/8" long tube headers coming! Can't wait to hear it pur! You should install the K&N cold air intake! it makes the engine sound amazing and helps so much with airflow and engine temps.

I drive a lot so I’ve just been running a few sets of stock filters they capture a bit more junk that’s in the air. Dude post that sound clip when you get it all installed,it’s going to sound so good🤙🏽

If you want something loud go corsa extreme otherwise this is loud when you want it to be but a little bit more of a muscle tone. And cheaper

I’ve compared stock active with a mid pipe and still didn’t sound the same. Audio on the phone just doesn’t do justice

Could have did netter. I was rushing and forgot to round off the 90° angle but it’s all good. Yes 15-17 works with no cutting and 18-23 with some cutting.

@@Matth-mg7yr so on the 2024 if you get a non active exhaust then you get dual tips. Vs active you get quad tip exhaust. Well I happen to get a non active gt so In order for me to add a quad tip cat back there was some cutting of the rear diffuser to fit.

So they fit kinda, the convertibles have a fitting issue due to the brace they need underneath to add structure due to the loss of it with not having a solid top. There’s a few vids on how to work around putting an exhaust on the convertible models

I know you’ll enjoy it a ton! There is a lot of heat on the web about the s650. I ordered mine as soon as the order bank opened in April I believe. Should be in around Oct.7th. I know I’ll enjoy mine! Just wait till aftermarket cracks this thing man.. it will be beautiful, just have to enjoy the waiting with a beautiful new car.

Corsa extremes or Borla S type?! It's a tough decision. I have a Steeda H pipe with stock non active and like you not a fan of the sound in the higher RPM range but contemplating the full 3 inch cat back when they release or going corsa double helix

The new corsa sounds good so if you don’t mind spending 2600-2800 I’d say go that route otherwise for 2k the borla is legit… the last 13k miles I’ve had it on haven’t gotten old

Correct, you’re just either have to cut your rear valance or buy the quad tip one but I recommend cutting first

Hey, am i able to use any exhaust that fits the s550 on my s650. I called different shops and they didnt know if the older exhaust systems were compatible.

Unless you have a convertible yes, but be aware if you got the non active system on your call and want to put quad tips you’ll have to cut it like I did. Otherwise if you have dual tips the 15-17 exhaust boot up with cutting of the bumper and the same goes for the quad tip active system cars they will bolt up any 18-23

2018-23, I had to cut the rear bumper to fit the quad tips but if you would like to avoid cutting get any of the 2015-17 models

Only way to get quad is get active exhaust. Even getting performance pack doesn’t give you quad tips.
