We were about to place an order for this only to discover it has no 7 or 6 seater option for the UK market, making it a let down. With that being considered, what is the justification to pass on the EQE for this?

There are videos of more affordable cars, you chose to watch this one and complain about the price. I can't afford it either, but I don't think it's right to complain about those that can. Enjoy your own lane and stay in it.
$100,000 for a car that has pretty much similar features to Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 5 is only half that price. I honestly don't think it's worth it unless you have money to throw around.

Unless you value safety, the sedan version is currently the safest vehicle in the world according to crash testing, the SUV will only be safer.
