We’re in level one math with confidence and my son loves the fun parts but doesn’t seem to grasp that the pairs he’s making in the games are the addition facts. There is no fluency or memorizing for him really and we’re off into subtraction already so I’m really considering trying math mammoth or something instead if supplementing doesn’t start sticking

is it not possible to slow down or speed througg with math with confidence? i was thinking it looked like we could speed through till we got to where my is

It is totally possible! They teach important concepts that are in the directions so a person would need to read everything to make sure they don't miss anything like subitizing for example. It's not as easy as doing it at a glance with MM.
