We have a lexus rx450h got it in 2011 and has 114k miles which is around 180k km and its still good the 3.5 v6 is just a good engine in reloabilty smooth goes all the way till 160mph somehow. Never can go wrong with toyota and lexus.

That should be CVT lag.

I think u r driving the initial demo vehicle, the current car have few different features like electronic back reclining seats and indicators also seems to be led.

I saw this car 3 days back in agra its was looked fabulous and amazing

I don’t know what these luxury brands think of Indians . I mean how lexus can even think of providing a CVT and then charging 1 cr + for this elevated Camry! 1cr + in foreign and you can get an sq8 , a freakin Audi SQ8 with a V8 !! I don’t know where we are heading now ?

Why no mention of the Q7 faisal? Best VFM in this segment as it is probably cheaper due to audi discounts. No cvt like lexus, no 2L engine in the base model like the GLE etc. I think the Q7 and the X5 are the go-to in this segment.

Nissan CVT is bad, that doesn't mean all CVTs are bad. Also, Lexus will give you peace of mind. In India, Lexus cars are overpriced because most models are imported from Japan. If Lexus produced models in India, prices would come down.

But owners may not consider it as a problem. If it is , they will replace that halogen lamp by a good LED lamp. But this halogen lamp is still a disadvantage for a luxury car like RX.

I think you put gear box in to ‘S’ that means sequential shift not sport mode. That we can see in every new Toyota cars , I think if you put in in this mode vehicle revs up little bit more than usual to change gear manually. Pardon me if I am wrong.

Unfortunately that's not going to happen until India gets its very own luxury car brands (which I doubt that would happen), as the government wants to push 'Vocal for Local'; encouraging the use of Indian products and advising us to reduce the use of foreign products. It's us that have to be realistic when it comes to buying a product

In india reliability doesn't mean much. Already in many cities there is a ban on cars more than 15 years. And in 15 years Indians barely get to 1 lakh km. The real test of reliability starts after 1.5 lakh kms.

I would not say performance. Any Audi, BMW or Volvo SUV will outdo the performance of Lexus and is lot more luxurious and has better safety features.
