The v8 is almost double(!) the price in our country(NL). Also, fuel is $7,50 per gallon. So this depends where you live I guess..

@@djpierre4613 Do you guys need to pay additional taxes on cars that are purely powered by ICEs? But yeah, with the fuel prices in western Europe, even the LC500h is kind of expensive to fill up, depending on how much you drive.

I Agree, don't buy the hybrid version, just go for the V8 version and then you can enjoy it from the outside AND the inside while driving it.

I really, really wish they made the hybrid variant also available in convertible. That would be a selling point for a gift for my mother because she doesn't need all that power, just a nice summer breeze.

Totally agree with your test and comments. Have the same one in same liquid platinium grey and love it. Not the V8 but still a great car. Use it to drive in town in perfect confort but also for long trips including high speed on the German autobahn. 240km/h easy last summer when I was in Germany. Feels very safe, looks great. Car is wide so not that easy in my underground parking. If you have the opportunity try one.

You are so lucky, it’s a beautiful car, I would choose one of these over a corvette any day. It’s sporty and it’s more comfortable than a corvette.

Ich hätte mir den V8 mit Hybrid gewünscht.Aber ich kann nicht zustimmen Der LC 500h ist wirklich Klasse,man sollte ihn kaufen.Vom V8 Sound abgesehen bietet er alles was man braucht und ist ein Appell an die Vernunft. Der LC sieht sportlich aus ist aber mehr gleiter vom Charakter.Das ist gut so. Der LC ist so oder so ein Traumauto.

We have His and Hers LC 500's She Coupe and He Convertable and they are the most amazing LUXURY Sports Coup on the market. Best sound of any V8 other than maybe the SVR's. While the V6 Hybrid makes sense.....there is nothing like the V8...this will be a collector

We are paying $2.00 a litre for fuel in Australia, which is ridiculous! But being a car enthusiast and enjoying driving the last of the great quality V8 cars it’s worth the expense. PS have a second daily fuel efficiency car for every day use 😊

Freakin' gorgeous and that nautical interior is just stunning. Dont mind the silver exterior either for it highlights the car's muscular stance. In an ideal world I would get the convertible though.

Mr GT mentioned the LC500 is better than the LFA. The LC500 is amazing but not in the same class as the LFA. The LFA may be older but they now sell for more than 1 mil. There are several reasons why the LFA will increase in value and the LC500 will sadly depreciate until it becomes a classic way off in the future. If you want the perfect GT the LC500 cannot be beaten as its reliability will beat any other maker.

Cost a fortune, and weighs a ton. It’s for people that never owned a Jaguar.

FYI. We don’t cars about engine noise. In fact the less of it the better. I handsomely for the Mark Levinson and expect no competition from engine racket inside our cabin. If I wanted engine noise invading my cabin, I’d buy a ford pinto.
