I’ve got a ‘23.5 110X and have owned it now for 13 months. I’ve not had a single problem. I’ve got the six cylinder and it’s smooth and transmission shifts are great. It’s got great acceleration and the ride on road with the air suspension is fantastic. Other than my 911, I’ve never enjoyed driving a vehicle more than my Defender. I’ve had more fun off-road in my Rubicon, and would take it places I wouldn’t take this, but for a vehicle that spends 95% of it’s time on road with some real off-road chops, this can’t be beat. I also owned a First Edition 2-door Bronco but could not stand the wind noise even with the hard top. At highway speeds you’d have to scream while talking on the phone. Road noise with my Defender is much better than expected.

I love my 2024 Defender 110. It's dark grey and black combo with 18" gloss black wheels. The 300hp 4 cyl turbo is plenty of power and the ride is absolutely bloody luxurious! Cheers!

Just bought my wife a 2023 Lexus GX 460, but that thing is above my pay grade!

I absolutely love it. I currently have a 2022 BMW X3 that I’m going to trade in late spring/early summer for a Land Rover Defender X. If I see a particular Defender that I want, but it is not at the Land Rover dealership that I’m buying from (Columbia, SC), can it be shipped to my dealership of choice for purchase, or do I have to come out to your dealership to purchase it?

Given the features and price, I think, I will wait for the 2024 Lexus GX 550. Even in its top trim, it is 18,000+ cheaper than a Defender. Regardless, great video. Very informative. Thank you!

I love my Defender!

I went to the local dealer and test drove one today. One thing that I didn’t like was you have to spend 15k more to get one that has the bigger screen. For the price the screen in the SE one is way too small. Between the SE and X model I didn’t notice much different on the inside other than the larger screen. The seats were nicer but not 15k more nicer. I liked the way it drove but it’s over priced in my opinion. It’s very basic feeling on the inside so not sure why they feel the need to charge a premium for it. Maybe for the 25 model they will offer the larger screen in the SE model. They also need more color choices.

I like to ride that here in my home town!

I have a V8 urban edition d90 with lowering module, wide body kit, 30mm wheel spacers and vossen 23' uvx. Let's not forget the euro toys 650 hp upgrade (pulley / flash) I find it amazing and chill. Didn't like my g63's they were soccer mom cars. His is more masculine. I don't know why they do the low spec versions I wouldn't ever have one. But that's me.

Hopefully it comes with a mechanic!

I would say consider the Enos Grenadier, I have driven one and it is legit.

This certainly isn’t an afterthought LR like Velar. Drove a 2 door as a loaner; it’s extremely rugged. I cannot imagine a LR as a daily driver.

I just acquired a LR Defender 110X as my daily driver. At least it’s my daily driver for 7 months of the year (Michigan). My summer car is a 911 Targa 4S. But I do love driving the Defender. Comfortable and quiet. Tons of torque and “get up and go”.

I would also like to know Land Rover stickers on it.. and how come none of you guys show them with real tires for.. give me a break I mean come on like what what are those things. A couple Cooper SSTpros. Couple Wrangler tires maybe some Goodyear MTS I don't know anything better than what that is showing.. 😅

The exterior is sexy. But not 90k sexy. The interior design is average. The dash screen is tiny. The functionality of the features within the infotainment and buttons is sub-par unfortunately. I test drove it and fell out of love with it.

Land rover have missed the point here. The original defender was a workhorse that could take a few knocks, this is just another Chelsea tractor. Can't imagine many of these carting around hay and sheep on the farm.

That wheel and tire package will get you in trouble off road. Why doesn’t Land Rover at the very least equip Defenders with 285/70 R17 all terrain tires with beadlock capable wheels? And a 35” all terrain tire and 17” wheel off road package with a factory lift as an option? Mud terrain tires should also be available as an additional option. And where are the steel modular bumpers? After all, Land Rover is supposed to be a premium off road vehicle manufacturer, but this Defender is more like a mall crawler.

Mine didn’t….but there was still something about it that I didn’t like. Aldi, the interior is not luxurious at all!

No it’s not. But it’s a status symbol for some people. It’s like the Mercedes G wagon. Great powerful and good looking car. Backseat sucks but again status symbol. Range Rover with alll the mud flaps, gear totes and hood decal approaches 240k. Half as much as 3500 ft2 home with gourmet kitchen, proper theater room, gym, 3 car garage on full acre. something does not add up. But if you can afford it and status symbols are what you like go for it.

It really depends on the reliability. For example, I owned a Range Rover, and it wasn't a pleasant experience in terms of reliability and repairs. If the Defender is similar, then yeah it's a problem, but if it is reliable, I would say worth every penny. Land Rover make really nice cars, great designs, great history, and certainly status symbols like you said, but they fail in reliability. The G wagon is actually pretty reliable, so you get the status symbol plus a beast of a car, if you are willing to pay $150k+

I’d go with the new Toyota Land Cruiser... it gives you time and money, since it’s very reliable...

I will own this truck but currently I have a jacked up Xterra. Pushing 445,000 km on it Going to replace it with this it will be the best last only car I ever buy ever again

These things look amazing but drove the 2023 and the engine feels anorexic. And I'm really not sure about long-term reliability.

Depends on the engine as far as power goes. I have the 3.0L P400 (400HP) and it doesn't disappoint. I'm on my second L663 Defender with a collective 60,000 hard miles and no major issues. Rides like a dream.

@@redcarpeteventplanning1566 nope. Factory warranty was up and my dealership hooked me up with a great deal on a beautiful Tasman Blue X-Dynamic so i couldn't say no.

Fantastic SUV, but I don’t think is reliable and therefore I don’t think it worth the money...

What a ridiculous vehicle which most times will never be off road in its life.

Waste of money. Not worth it. It will spend more time with mechanics

Ya please explain!! I bought one v8 all black the 110. And i love it !!! Probably one of the more fun vehicles I’ve ever driven. Plenty of power good driving position and smooth.. It’s a rugged vehicle so you do lose the luxury theme for that reason But for me I found its very comfortable and usable. Great stereo and ride!!! FYI I traded in a BMW and have no regrets yet!!!……Nothing like a RR
