If you’re trying to do it from the fob, lock the vehicle first, then press and hold the remote start button until the lights start to flash. You do have to be within proximity for it to work!

Do you guys know why the X-Line here in Edmonton is way more expensive than there, almost $5000. So it starts at $53,000. Hope you have an answer for me. Thank u!!

MSRP on the X-Line is $47 975 CAD. This of course, does not include freight and air, taxes, or licensing. However, I would check to see if there’s any type of “market adjustment fee.” If there is, don’t pay it.

@@BrantfordKia the Govt. of Canada clearly stipulates that Freight and PDI are built into the MSRP - why do dealerships charge Freight/destination separately?

This is a great question - freight/air charges traditionally aren’t included in the MSRP. However, there has been provincial kick back that all fees, freight, air etc. (Basically everything but sales tax and licensing) are included in the advertised total sales price of the vehicle!

Also - if you’re interested in a more in-depth look OMVIC, which is Ontario’s provincial regulator provides all the info on what can or cannot be included in advertised pricing!
