What is the dimensions with flat rear seats? Can a person 1.80 sleeps if front seats move forward?

IF that car would be available in the UK, I could buy it today. This is a much more important car than KIA EV9. This is everything we need for commuting in English cities built around Roman Empire roads and parking spaces designed after the size of Mini from 1970. and yes... ACC or Traffic Jam Assist would be welcomed. Thank you for bringing these cars to our attention. Great job mate.

I absolutely adore this! That milky beige color’s absolutely lovely, a shame it isn’t coming to any nation besides SK, would’ve been a very nice competitor (and way more reliable) than the Fiat Pandas and all the other ones we get here.

If this car came to the Canary Islands, it would be a success as a vehicle for rental and use in the city. Sadly the last key cars to arrive were some Nissan Cube and some Daihatsu Sirion. It will have to be raised with the importer Domingo Alonso

@@CarSceneKorea On the island of Gran Canaria, in the 70s and 80s the Korean fishing fleet had a reference port here, in fact there is a Korean consulate and an important colony of Koreans. It's welcome

Mitsubishi had the same problem as the Ray (being underpowered) with their i-MiEV. They had a tiny gasoline engine in the back driving the rear wheels. As soon as they made the vehicle electric, it was SO much better and eventually was sold outside of Japan. Maybe the same thing will happen with the Ray EV.

Sounds like a great plan! I didn’t really mind the under power ICE Ray had, but EV is golden 💪

What a great little car! I'd love to see these in Romania where the only affordable alternative is the Dacia Spring. But after owning a Sportage for almost 7 years now, I'm partial to Kia ☺️. And this one would make so much more sense for the city than my big bulky Sportage. Would be easier to drive along narrow streets and easier to park. Plus my daily drive is less than 15 km taking the kids to and from school and to and from different extracurriculars. With that range (full regen in the city) I'd probably have to go around 2 weeks between charges or more. I would really like to see it available here too. Also love the passenger side. And the fact that it still has some usable booth to stop by the supermarket on the way home. Kia, please bring this to Europe as well, you are discriminating us for not being South Korean 😅

I've just got back from two weeks in Korea and you're right, they're everywhere!

The price is more than acceptable compared to others in this category( Fiat 500e, Honda e. Renault Zoe, Mini Cooper SE , Citroën ë-C3 ).

They are pioneers and experts on that segment indeed.

I like this one very much🤩 only if it was in right hand drive & had 50 km more range, plus a vented front passenger seat it’d be perfect at around the 20k-22k price mark. Tbh tho it doesn’t need as much hp as it has got, they should trim off some of it for more range, a car of this type torque is more important it’s not like anyone is buying this car to go on the racetracks. A next gripe the sliding door should go further back for though it’s easy at the side to get in without pillars people who’re taller & thicker in body will find themselves getting hanged on the door. I can see this car being used for all kinds of purposes like a family car, grocery getter, taxis, delivery vans & so on! They need to make it global they’re missing out on profit.

On point! Really wish Kia would bring this over to Europe!

We need cars like this in USA. Small, affordable EVs perfect to go to work and back and even daily drives to local areas.

We always have fun look! I'm riding an IONIQ5 in Japan. I like it very much! It's a shame that EV9 and Ray EV have not been introduced in Japan. My partner also wants to drive this Ray EV or Casper.

I love the car but I would change the tires and rims to make it more sporty looking and I try to find a way to give a much longer battery range like 650 to 2000 me range so I can use it a lot cuz I love the body style in the look it's really cool love to see more of it and I like to see it sold here in the US

Looks like a lovely vehicle. The only comparable vechicle (but much smaller) here would be the Smart EV. In Canada the big brother the Soul EV been sold for years but now they are saying they are not bringing it in anymore, just the gas model. 😢😢 Hope to see the EV9 on the streets next year.

I have the 2023 ray! Love it so much. I'm sad about having to sell it if I ever return to the US :(. You also forgot one more storage area! Backseat under the floor mat haha

Actually, the storage under the floor was removed in Ray EV because of the battery pack 😢

They should sell this Ev version in all markets globally.❤

Are you asking for the classic ICE or EVX version ? Because non EV starts at ~29k€ on our🇨🇿 market. Price for the EVX has not yet been announced.

I just found your Video here and I like the car. However, I am sure I misheard you saying that it charges with upto 150kW. Surely, you Said 50 and I just didn't hear it right, right? 😬

You did hear it right, it's official from Kia: "The Ray EV supports rapid charging with a 150 kW-level charger, taking 40 minutes for a 10% to 80% battery charge."

wondering if the EV2 is a new car or if its just the international name of this car since it seems to share a lot of stuff with the other new kia ev models

Just get the Ioniq 5N to tow the Ray along and then you'll get a sub 5 second 0-100kph!! I can't wait to see the Hyundai Casper EV when it comes to Europe 🙂

I know for a fact, that in my town, this car would rule. Already, an Ora Funky Cat has turned up. Is it the beginning of the end to the local Suzuki dealership and it’s revolving door of old age pensioners?
