Sometimes even in 3th gear she will lift the front wheel. In 2nd gear no problem. I love this bike. Bought it 2 months ago and man, what an adventure

Excellent review, I purchased this model about 6 months ago and I love it. I did upgrade the front forks with a Ktech piston kit & put a heavier spring in the rear

Ive had my z900 for 3 years and 7000 miles. The seat is hard. Its heavy to move around, and the steering lock isnt great. I paid £8500 new, for that i got a bike thats fast, it keeps up with much more expensive bikes on rideouts fairly comfortably, it hoons and is huge fun. Its also easy to ride and undemanding if you just want to bob along. Im keeping it at the end of the pcp.

Nice video mate, definitely on the list when I thin out the bike collection. The Z900 probably needs the fuelling tweaked to get rid of the flat spot. I've had the same problem with most of my bigger Kawasaki's. Usually put there to comply with "emissions" or "noise" regs.

We build All kind's of race motors and believe me almost everything that we build Hits the Dyno as soon as it's done and it doesn't hurt them...if they are put together right they Will take it nothing but the Best parts...if they use cheap parts well they Will Not last long..

Yep, you're spot on! I have the 23 Z900 SE, and the H2 here in Canada is almost DOUBLE the price, which means look at it, admire it and walk right on by the H2, lol. I could get a Z900 SE and a base Z900 for the price of an H2.

I would say that lull in power is quite normal, especially for a Kawi. I've had 2 ZX-6Rs and they both had 14k rev range, I could rev it up to 7k and it wouldn't feel like you were picking up speed at all but then you would just take off like a rocket. That engine was so amazing though, I was hitting almost 100mph just from 1st gear. People would beat me off the line so easily but then I would come barreling by with a screaming engine, the '07-'08 ZX-6R's were unique beasts.

Tested this in person and the XSR900. While I like how this bike looks, I will be purchasing the XSR900. Has more torque, quickshifter up and down, cruise control.. and a long list of features for the same price. The Z900 has a bit more HP that will only be use going 100+mph, on everything else the xsr900 takes the cake.

If you just wanna hoon around with occasional city rides definitely go for the z900, but if you are more track focused and really care about peak horsepower then go for the suzuki. The tft display is way better on the kawasaki more crisp and clear. If you are over 6’0 tall, the z might be a bit too cramped.

Just traded in a GSX S1000 for a Z900. The gsx is blisteringly fast in a straight line, but its handling is nowhere near as good as the Kwak. The gsx is ponderous at low speed and handles like barge. If you haven't already chosen GET the KWAK, you will be pleased you did.

They are both Z’s, but I wouldn’t compare it to zh2. It’s a really good middleweight. I like it so much I bought one. It’s an everyday, blast to ride. 3rd gear is everything. Only complaint, pegs are a bit low! Good vid.

Talk about fucking up the break-in. People really don’t believe it. It’s known that you have valve seals will look like shit at lower mileage from not breaking the bike in. It’s been proven.
