    I love the closing statement about experienced riders! I'm coming off of a 90s 600 sport bike and I got this bike for an easier commute while still being able to rip it a little whenever I feel like it. Great video!

    love my z500. plenty fast and still has some juice after 90 mph on the highway. Mirrors are super vibey at speeds above 65 mph. foot touches the exhaust, not really a bother after a few weeks on it. I'm only getting about 54 mpg with mixed city and highway. I still think that price to bike ratio is near unbeatable. I hear the chinese bikes outperform but I don't trust the longevity of those engines. Kawasaki's are nigh bulletproof.

    Good to hear; 90 mph is fast enough for anyone except Agostini! Maybe the 2025 model will rectify the shortcomings of what is already a very nice bike from Kawasaki.

    Because it's their naming scheme and it just sounds better. Z900 should be called z950 cause it's 948cc engine, why don't kawasaki call it 950 then??? They have no "integrity" R7 should be R69. KTM Duke 990 and 1390 should be 950 and 1350 and Husqvarna is just pure lies because they have the same engine as ktm but rounded to rounded to 100s. It's just a naming scheme my guy, they aren't trying to fool you into thinking it's 500cc or they wouldn't show the engine specs in their advertisement

    Should’ve had that 270 crank. The Chinese are ABSOLUTELY showing everyone up. It’s a shame because I hate supporting Chinese businesses, but CFmoto is doing it right. I hope Yamaha updates the r3/mt03 series with the 399cc 270 crank. The CFmoto 450ss has the perfect tone. Sounds like a bigger bike but it’s not.

  • @Bluelights17

    270’s are just a trade off to 180’s. Sure they sound cooler but they tend to be heavier. Neither is better than the other. I’d rather Kawi use their bulletproof 180 rather than try and quickly produce a 270. Those cfmoto and moto morini have good value but there is really no telling how reliable they will be. I’ve also heard of a ton of people having issues getting them serviced. A lot of shops won’t touch them because they are “just Chinese bikes”. I’ve also heard their TFT dash’s haven’t been holding up very well.

    @@Bluelights17 I lost brain cells reading this. Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki already use the 270° on their bikes ! Yamaha has been doing so for years. Your criticism about complexity, reliability and weight are totally crap.

  • @Bluelights17

    @Bluelights17

    2 ай бұрын

    @@burnttoast9890 the reliability I spoke of is about cfmoto not 270 crank motors. You need to read again. And 270’s do add a bit of weight (needs more counter balance), there is a reason Yamaha doesn’t use it in the MT-03 or R3, Honda doesn’t use it in the cb500’s or 300’s or many of their small displacement bikes. 270 cranks don’t really make sense in smaller displacement bikes. You definitely lost brain cells, but that’s not my causing.

    Just because one motorcycle reviewer says that 270 cranks sound better, everybody has to follow him like a sheep. I restored a 78 Honda hawk with 30,000 miles on it. Let’s see if the Chinese know how to say.” rock solid, reliable.”
