i was lucky enough to find a 2015 special edition verson of this bike , i had just finished a 30 yr stint on cruisers ,so i was a little unsure of what i had bought ,even though i had grown up on the old english and japanese road bike of the 60/70/80 ,but to my luck i fell in love with this bike as the best overall unit i had ridden in 40 odd yrs thank you kwaka, i wont be selling this one !

I love my 2016 Model. Such a relaxing ride, no need to hurry, just taking in the landscape. The only thing I miss a a sixth gear to drop the revs at speeds above 80Kp/h, the torque is there to support it.

Just for the record, this is a standard motorcycle, and a lovely and instant classic. A cruiser has forward footpegs, and almost always pull back handlebars, and commonly a stepped seat. The beautiful W has none of those. It's in the same class as the Bonneville and several of the Royal Enfields. Footpegs position your feet like a standard chair, handlebars lean you sightly forward, and the seat is mostly flat. Come on man!

The W2 and W3 650 successor was a W 650 in 1998 not a the W 800 in 2010.

Why only 60 HP ??? I'd have expected at least 80 !!!

48 bhp. Tuned for mid range torque.
