Great review. Detailed down to the color in regular light!!

One of the things I LOVE about my new 13 is that the keyboard is the same as a normal iMac keyboard. I don't have to go behind to get numbers, symbols or brackets etc.

Yeah I made the mistake of getting the M2 Pro 12.9”, it’s just so big and unusable as a tablet in bed, the sofa or on the go or work. I’m planning on getting the 11” this time around.

So I have 2 large monitors and a Mac book air 13 and I decided to go with the 11 iPad Air. I changed my iPad from having the 10.6 iPad Pro to the IPad Air. I don’t use the camera on the iPad only the front camera for FaceTime so that is why I went one generation lower. So far I’m happy with the 11 iPad Pro. Don’t get me wrong 13 looks great. But for traveling and having 2 giant monitors when I work from home, it to much big screen time. Hope this helps with any decision making for those that are shopping iPad Air or Pro.

11 inch ipad 128gb, I think this is the best deal in the whole line up.

because of the camera, can the Apple Pencil charge on top of the devise?

Currently using a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9. Been wanting to downsize to an 11in but torn between this and the new pro. Not a heavy user per say but do you think it'd be a downgrade going from an older pro to an Air? At the moment my only gripe with the Air is lack of Pro Motion.

You can see it for yourself if you have the apple store, I'd probably also consider refurbished previous gen Pro if price is the issue. It also depends on your use case, if you're mostly watching something on it, you wouldn't notice any difference, but if you scroll/read news a lot, then higher refresh rate comes in handy and you'll probably feel the downgrade.

I got the base 11 hopefully memory ain’t an issue. It’s gonna be my first iPad

I don't think storage will be an issue with 128 GB unless you plan on doing a lot of gaming or video editing. My ipad mini 32 gb still has plenty of space 🙂

Quick question this is my first ever apple product im getting for college, when it says to enter apple id is there an option to create one since ive never owned any apple products.

which one will be better for notes taking? and portability is not an issue. notes taking with apple pencil.(never used any ipad first time experience)

Hey Guys! Would you tell me which is better to buy iPad Air 2024 or iPad Pro 2022 since they both m2 ?

I’ve noticed my m1 iPad Air getting a higher score than the m2 iPad Air presented My m1 iPad Air got 8818 multicore on geekbench 6

The logical choice for me is to go with the 11” M2 iPad Air since I have the 13” M1 MacBook Air.

I just got my iPad Air 2024 11 inch and noticed that here in UK there is no adapter in the box just the usb c cable. But when I watch unboxing videos they have adapters on them.

I just picked up the iPad Air 11 inch Space Grey with Magic keyboard! love the smaller size !

Haven’t seen this commented on yet it may have been already covered. The volume up and down button is dynamic if it is in landscape mode is on the right if it’s in portrait mode on the left.

I got the 13inch iPad it’s amazing and you actually got a cloth to wipe any fingerprints and you might of gotten one two

A lot of people who can now afford the 13” iPads air models will be disappointed with how heavy and more difficult to use the 13 inch is lol I hate my 12.9”

Really excited to buy the 13 inch Air. Haven’t had an iPad since the original and haven’t bought a tablet since the Samsung Tab S2.

If I wasn’t poor and didn’t already have the M1 Air I’d almost consider getting the new 11” pro with the anti reflective coating. Looked really good in your video. That and the M1 Air’s blue was too good to get rid of. I wish they would stop with the pastel colors I love the deep blue of my Air.

The 13 is huge I wanted it but ended up getting a smaller one 11 inch

Mine is coming today, 11 inch. I wanted to go cheap but in Canada ipad 10 with storage at 256gb which is overkill for me was $699 and air was 799$ I figure I won't need a new pad for the next 5-7 years.

I cant decide between ipad air 13inch or ipad pro 11inch (In 256gb theres no big price difference). I really want bigger screen but pro 13inch its just too expensive. So i would like some advice for what to choose, like pro has face id, ProMotion, oled, raytracing and other cool features. Pro is obviously better but my question is if its still worth getting a bit smaller ipad pro11inch with all features even tho im gonna draw a take notes a lot on it? or should i get bigger 13inch ipad air and give up all those pro features? Thanks in advance!

If you want a bigger screen for movies i can say that watching movies on the 13 inch isnt that much bigger most 4k hdr movies are wide screen so because of that ratio the actual movie size wont be much bigger and you just get a heavier and larger uncomfortable tablet to hold. I had the 12.9 that was useless for me in college most desk at my college bearly fit a regular ipad but not my 12.9 so i upgraded to the 11 inch and couldnt be happier.

Keep the Purple 11”Air and the 13” Pro.🤗😉

Please do a battery drain test between these two :D

Different screen ratios make them look weird when putting them side by side.

15:58 actually as a student I would say I prefer the bigger screen. I don’t do conventional notetaking because that’s useless, but I do a lot of mindmapping and for that i like a bigger canvas, and if you want to use split screen when doing so it’s nicer with the bigger screen :)

i’m currently at university and deciding between the 11” and 13” screen for ipad air! a lot of people are saying the 13” is too big to conventionally carry round and use daily etc, but i think as a student like you said, mind mapping, split screens, especially to be able to read the recommended readings whilst being able to take notes at the same time, i think im going to go for the 13”

@@yoongikoo2430 I hope you will be happy with it :) I only carry my iPad (sometimes macbook also) and food with me for university so I don’t think it’s to heavy, and the 13” isn’t that much bigger than the 11”, like it’s not that many times you have so limited space in your bag or on your table etc. that the 13” won’t work… Side-note, I owned the 4th gen 12,9” iPad Pro and my parents was convinced it was the 11”, probably because they own the old 12,9” and that is huge 😄 my point is if you get the 13” it may feel gigantic at first but you get used to the size:)

If you ever plan to get the Magic Keyboard or Apple Pencil Pro, go iPad Air. Also, the Air will last longer in terms of software updates so I’d prefer it for that reason as well.

Ok am gonna stick with 11inch 😂. 13inch is too big for me. I’ll get that in the MBA

I wish they would add Touch ID to all there devices. I miss it. Especially when you have sunglasses or a mask on Face ID doesn’t always work. 7:12

And Touch ID doesn’t work if you have gloves on for work or in winter,or if you have flaky dry skin on your hands which I do.There are pros & cons to both technologies.

The bezels of the 11 inch’s version go thick in comparison with the bigger model.

At least, they should’ve gone with the iPad Pro 11 inch’s panel with the ProMotion locked which has smaller screen borders as well as a higher brightness of 600 nits instead of current 11” iPad Air’s 500.

I bought the 11 inch iPad Pro with OLED display. I did a side-by-side comparison with my seven year old 10.5 inch iPad Pro. To my amazement my seven year old iPad looked a lot better than the OLED Display. Can’t believe the rear camera is the same one they had seven years ago. My old iPad has pro motion. The new IPads Air’s don’t even have that. I can’t unlock it while wearing an Apple Watch. How come? If you try to film off of the OLED display you get flickering. Needless to say I’m sending it back and for the time being staying with my seven year old iPad which cost me $800 in 2017 but it’s tried and true and doesn’t make me blue. Or broke. I’m taking my cash back to the bank. 🤷‍♂️💵💵💵💵💵🏦

the air m2 doesn’t worth 600$ , and it’s a scam. The pro m2 is now 700$ from original 800$, what you get extra? 120 hz, 2 camera, Lidar , 4 speakers , fast usb c …. All this worth much more than 100$

If u want 13", then u go to mac

It is always better to get a previous-generation refurbished Pro when it comes to Air. These screens suck.

Then my advice to you would be not to buy it then. Lol You don’t have to constantly buy a new iPad every single year a new one is out. If you have one that works, just stick with it.

LCD and 60hz panels are disgraceful in 2024! Even cheap, slow, android tabs have 120hz and OLED! 😂😂
