2024 Ice Fishing Forecast Whitefish
Whitefish are a very popular species caught through the ice throughout many of the Great Lake. As lakes have changed with the introduction of invasive species and zebra mussels, much of the lake whitefish food web has changed. Some for the better, some for the worse.

The Farmers Almanac was clearly wrong about late December.
Man this ice season is killing me already... I didn't realize that Simcoe had GIANT White Fish and crazy populations like that! I decently need to make a trip there sometime!
