Looking for an AWD review. Hate those ugly wheels but the car looks fantastic.

This is so nice in person and a great drive, was looking at sonatas but ended up going with Elantra limited for my first new car.

Please let us know how it rides. I think a lot of people are curious about the AWD version but there's no reviews out there.

The front and rear are a big improvement, as is the dash.

Thanks for great review Mike. Maybe next time take the car on the highway & report back on noise level @ highway speeds? I'm in Canada & Heated Steering Wheel, Panorama Roof , Leather & Cooled & both power front seats are standard in our 2.5 AWD Preferred model. AWD model here is $36000 .FWD Turbo with DCT here is overpriced @ $41000. Our Preferred model is like your SEL but more equipment & no option packages. Can't get that great Red colour you tested either unless you get the Turbo FWD. Drove a 23 Sonata Turbo that I really liked the ride & handing with 8000 miles that a Dealer had used as a service loaner last week. Only problem was the Dual clutch trans was Awfully jerky especially coming down from highway speeds & was a deal breaker for me. Service dept said they are like that. So I ordered the AWD non Turbo with the 8 Speed non-dual clutch in Transmission Blue with only our only interior choice of black leather. We haven't got any 2024's yet in Canada so deposit will be refundable subject to test drive. Are the dash gauges changeable to dials from the digital readouts which I really don't like? I'm replacing a 2016 Genesis 3.8 AWD sedan that I bought 6 years ago & I have really loved & has been trouble free but warranty was up 6 months ago & I don't want a modern car without a warranty. it's only got 53000 Kilometers (32000 miles) so I will get a great price for it sell privately. I hope the Sonata will be a good replacement for a lot less $$$ with @ least 25% better fuel economy as it really seems like great value for the $$$. Sonata is only 1 second Slower than my Genesis 0-60 MPH so I'm sure I'll be more than happy. @ 77 my days of drag racing are behind me. Thanks again.Terry in Calgary

Thanks Terry. I film all of the trim levels and I’ll get one out on the highway. Thanks for tuning in and the feedback. Much appreciated.

Are the digital gauges convertible to round dials lick the Elantra does? Really don't care for digital readout & prefer round dials.

@@chabbysrides K5 is a nice vehicle! I wish that the Sonata N-Line would be available with AWD. That would be a nice car as well!! By the way, I did not see an auto start/stop button on the Sonata in your review. Is it hidden in the infotainment system like Subaru has?

No need, when the naturally aspirated makes 11hp more and has turned out pretty reliable more than the 1.6T used in Sonata and K5

makes sense. the 1.6T is fairly reliable in the long run proven by the outgoing K3/ Forte GT. my thinking was that the 1.6T makes more torque, and better MPG numbers so I was confused.@@FlexRod
