The reason it gets better MPG on the highway is because it still has a traditional transmission and not a CVT.

Great video, would add one more point about the car: the key fob on its side has the remote control features to be able to move the car independently through the key fob without a driver

Love this video! This is the most informative one that I have found on the limited hybrid. My dealership is getting this same exact model, trim and color in on Tuesday, which they are reserving for me😀 Can't wait to see it!! Thank you for posting this!!

I would say that the Sonata is directly competitive with the Camry and Accord hybrids. Vehicle is well equipped and appears to be an excellent driver. The Hyundai-Kia group is highly competitive, the didn't sit on their hands in becoming the third largest vehicle producer in the world. Their product must be taken seriously. My interest is in a base Tucson without AWD..not comparable to this product, but very cost competitive. Different vehicles for different needs. Excellent review!

Headlights control on the left turn signal lever is so uncomfortable and dangerous. Many times I accidentally switched the mode from Auto to Off, which could have led to sad consequences on the road during dark hours. This is one of the major flaws of this car, which can be very dangerous for drivers.

I bought a non hybrid sonata SEL Convenience and I love the car. Coming from an Audi A6, previously owned Camry and accord m… first time Hyundai owner, we shall see how it goes.

I enjoy your reviews. I am trying to decide between this vehicle, the Kia K5 EX, and the new Toyota Camry XLE. Pros and cons to each. Which one did you like the best?

For me it’s either the Camry or the K5. Both have 2.5 liter engines, both ride and handle well. K5 has more interior room, Camry has the reliability factor. K5 is about 5k less expensive since it’s not a hybrid. Both have good interiors. Camry has leather and the K5 has vinyl. Can’t go wrong with either car. If you can spend the extra cash, then I’d go with the Camry. I hope that helps. Thanks for tuning in.

Why wouldn't the larger Nline engine be an open for a "Limited"? C'mon Hyundai!!!

I think I need to draw the line at rain sensing wipers. Is that technology really necessary? You made a good point about the folding mirrors. I would rather have that than worthless rain sensing wipers.

I would like Homelink back vs the rain sensor wipers.

I just bought the 2023 exact same model of this vehicle. The dashboard is slightly different. A/C controls on the 23 model are real buttons. The transmission is buttons down by the wireless phone charger. The steering wheel vehicle logo on this 2024 model looks stupid.

Homelink capability seems to be missing, which is really surprising on this highest trim level.

Someone on a Hyundai Sonata group mentioned that they negotiated to have Hyundai upgrade their mirror to a Homelink mirror when it comes out and have the dealer install it. That’s what I’m going to do when I purchase mine in a few weeks.
