I've got the pre facelift model of this Mk4 Jazz and that is a pretty impressive package so the fact that they have managed to bring in genuine improvements is quite the achievement. It is, for a huge number of people, all the car you'll ever need.

I own a 2015 Jazz. For me it was, up to now, the better looking front. The facelift I see it as a 'facedrop' since to me the design is worst. But its a matter of personal taste. These cars run forever with no issues at all. The magic seats have been around since mk1 and you forgot to mention that the doors open almost 90º. You can easely get anything inside. The mileage is not impressive. I get 5.5lt/100km witch is about 51mpg (1.3lt engine 100bhp). To me I think the realy big problem is the price. They're not cheap but they last.

We have a 2021 EX. Great car! Actual measured consumption over 12500 miles = 62.2 mpg. Only 2 comments: 1. Why is the passenger seat not height adjustable, while the Jazz is available in LHD and RHD? This means that the left and right seats are produced with height adjustment. To save a few pennies?🤔 2. And that with such a really (too) high price tag!🥴

We had a 2014 Jazz 1.2 it was an amazing little car , beware though the petrol tank is under the driver seat we discovered when we mounted a broken kerb to allow an ambulance to pass and the tank hit a sharp bit and ruptured RAC guy said this was the first time he had ever encountered a ruptured tank. It was quite expensive to have it replaced and could only be done by the dealership which added to the expense from memory it was close to £800.

I have a current model and the access and height was a major point for my wife who has arthritis. She uses a transit wheelchair which I can fit in the back by lowering just one seat. The jazz continues to have a firm ride I would say so a test drive is necessary to assess. I've heard alternative tyres can help with that. But I love mine. So easy to drive.

I'm 81, with a 2011 Fit. The car is extremely easy to get in and out of, with a higher seating position than that of Honda sedans. While a bit noisy on the highway, the seats are extremely comfortable for long hauls. A great car -- but no longer available in North America!

At 77 and owing my second Jazz, I can say that they're really easy to get into and out of. The best thing about the Jazz is its reliability. I've hardly had to repair either model in 20 years of Jazz ownership. They also have extremely good fuel consumption.

Ok, I like this car very much, I’ve driven it and I was very impressed. The facelift makes it genuinely attractive, whereas the pre-facelift car looked like an Iveco van. However, I wish reviewers wouldn’t describe things as “sporty” when they are no such thing. Wheels, grills, you name it, aren’t sporty, they are designed elements with practical and aesthetic function. Anyway, this is the best small car for sale at the moment and I think the quality justifies the price.

  • @AndrewSheldon

It is very efficient and it is smooth to drive, I didn't feel 3-cylinder vibrations on the car. I really love the Honda E myself, that is a great small city car EV but that really has range issues. If they could maybe fuse the two together that would be fantastic.

  • @AndrewSheldon

@@TechInTheCar I'd want the discretion to put the petrol genset in the back of car when on the few occasions not doing city driving, and i can't expect to rely on fast charging network. Nice if can vent the genset to charge at 2000-3000w whilst im driving. Hmm.. I think that's too slow charging range though. That's the problem. But only needs to be range extender. It would need a flue.

I am beyond sick of KZread recommending car models that are NOT offered for sale in the USA. It is bad enough that every Japanese car company has deleted every model that isn't a dumb as dirt sedan or SUV because they think every American is a soccer mom or middle aged dad who drives around with 500sft of interior space ALONE, HAULING NOTHING AND NO ONE. The USA now desperately needs smaller cars that are capable of moving our THINGS around, as no one, I repeat NO ONE is driving passengers around here today as everyone is working multiple jobs at differing schedules. WT absolute F are Tokyo and Hamamatsu's bubble dwelling car executive imbeciles smoking? The whole world is going completely insane and for seemingly zero reason Japan has suddenly decided that the USA can afford a grouping of cars that offer at least 3 seats too many and that cost $5,000 more than most of us can afford.

We have a 2014 Honda Jazz SI purchased from new. Now whilst the car is very reliable for sure the same can't be said about the paint quality. The paint finnish can only be described as dreadful with paint flaking off on the A pillars and many areas where hardly any top coat is applied and areas completely missing particularly by the hinges of the tailgate. Ive already had to have the front bumper re painted because the clear coat failed and this is on a car with only 18000 miles on it. One things for sure ,I don't think if the car had been made in Japan it would have left the factory with such poor paintwork ( unlike this one which was made at Swindon). Needless to say I won't be buying another Honda as Honda didn't want to know..

Problema Honda Jazz 2024 Sport ibrida. A qualcun altro è successo? Link al video, alza il volume: kzread.infocHEk26D0EZI

Those safety features are actually more hindrance than what people realise they think they’re getting something helping them out but actual factor creates more problems you need to solve as you go about driving Honda is not the only maker guilty of this BS, but I really don’t think that you should be encouraging it by overselling this product

I disagree totally, the driver assistance and safety features work very well if you use them and don't have a negative perception of them. They are not self-driving features, they are assistance features. The problem is many people are afraid of something they don't understand so either think these features aren't safe or don't use them enough. I can't tell you the number of times that the adaptive cruise on my own car that I used EVERYWHERE and all-the-time has slowed me down because someone stopped without breaking (as in slowed right down but didn't brake) and I would have had to suddenly stop as a result.

Well, to start with, this is NOT a review but a PROMOTION video, so you hear only positive things... this is fine as long as we realize what we see... I own a Honda Jazz for one year so I will put my experiences to assist, if possible. First of all, personally I do NOT like the facelift... I know that the previous (front) design was a little awkward and the new one is more 'conventional' but I believe the previous one was 'cute' and the new one is simply not - but all this is very subjective. Also, myself I opted for the white/grey interior which I believe is much cooler than the black/grey option (as in video) and you also avoid piano black inserts that look dirty all the time (I really can not understand auto manufactures that insist to fill up the cabin with piano black parts, is just a pain...). Also, I do like the two-spoke steering wheel better that the tree-spoke steering shown in the video, it is more suited for the character of this car... . Now, the main plus of the car is its driving parts - Honda engineers have done a splendid job, the cooperation between the electric motor and the conventional motor is simply PERFECT and SUPER SMOOTH, the transition between motors is totally unnoticed. I have the previous engine, 109hp and it moves the car quite decently (I would say 'quickly') so the new stronger engine should be even better. Consumption is just good - do not expect to see the advertised 4 lt/100km but something closer to 5 - but still is very good. Also bear in mind that the car 'forces' you to drive in a relaxed way - do not ask me how it does that, it simply does.... The other main 'plus' is space - it simply has the most spacious cabin in the 'mini' segment (not only the back seats) and even in the next segment. Now let's go to the 'minus'. Quality of materials is simply mediocre (seats are good but that's all - plastics belong to the early 00s...) and assembly in the cabin is not great, especially compared with european rivals (and even with some japanese and koreans). Honda has certainly tried to save money there... also the suspension has some issues on uneven roads with holes and bumps... although handling is (surprisingly?) quite solid, the car body does roll a little over bumps , a more stiff chassis would certainly help (although it would probably add weight which is already an issue in all hybrids - due to double engines, batteries, etc) . All in all though the 'package' is quite good - and hopefully ultra reliable. What is the main 'mistake' of Honda? in my opinion, THEY SHOULD HAVE PUT A BIGGER BATTERY TO ADD SOME MORE RANGE IN EV MODE... that would help in consumption and would also help to 'shine' the car's character. Second, the lane assist interference is too sensitive and really ANNOYING sometimes and can not get 'permanently' disabled , you have to do it every time you start the engine - thus in the end you simply do not and you live with it... Also a little better soundproofing (eg thicker glass panels) would not be a bad idea (the car is very quiet on its own and this has obviously made the Honda people to thing that soundproofing is unnecessary but external noise can be annoying in such a quiet environment - do not get me wrong , the car is not bad in that respect , it is just that in a such smooth car you ask for more quietness...) . One other 'disadvantage' is that it spoils you... once you use the side 'holes' on the dashboard for your water or coffee or mobile, then you think that all other cars with cupholders in their cetral console are simply stupidly inconvenient ... . One final clarification (even for typical reasons) this car (as all new Honda hybrids) does NOT have an automatic transmission as such, it simply has NO transmission (or to be mechanically accurate, it has a single gear transmission) - in everyday life thought it seems behaving as an automatic transmission for all it practically matters... I HOPE I HELPED

It's interesting to hear that as my dad has a base model non hybrid honda jazz and it's actually very nice on the inside. Leather isn't BMW standard but it's is very good same with parts that we frequently touch (armrest, steering wheel etc) and has a nice responsive 9inch touchscreen. Only slight issue is the questionable front. We still choose the jazz as it's only a few thousands more than a Suzuki swift but we get so much more tech, quality, features and space, and considering my dad pays monthly instalments it was only a few hundreds extra per month as compared to the Suzuki

Way past time that Honda made this a pure EV. Great engineering and reputation, this would be a world leader in its class. Unfortunately the Japanese motor industry is controlled by the Toyota hierarchy, who insist that EV'S will never catch on. These dinosaurs will get left behind by the likes of BYD unless they change their minds and get with the 21st century game.

@@michaelscales5996 Sure there are some car companies that are seeing numbers of certain models drop, or not meet expectations, but that's EXACTLY the same for petrol and diesel cars. Meanwhile BYD is continuing to break sales records month after month after month. Some companies are just not providing the cars that people want. That's the only problem with the market at the moment. EV'S are the future. Honda is late to the party and Toyota is about to go bankrupt unless it radically alters its ideas and plans.

First things first, the 1.5 engine as in the current turbo variant, suffers from oil dilution. In America there is currently a civil action for large numbers of damaged engines. Two, engine drives generator to change batterys , which drives motors . Have these engineers ever heard of mechanical losses. Here's an idea, engine drive front wheels. You never know it might catch on! Batteries are for golf carts and milk floats .

Why so ugly Honda, why??? I owned the 2nd gen. for almost 10 years with no single problem. I owned a Civic for 7 years with no single problem. I wanted to buy a hybrid, I trust and like Honda hybrids, I am completely biased to Honda. And still, they managed to get me away from them, I bought a Mazda. This is how Honda markets its products. Why? Because this model is incredibly, insanely ugly. II appreciate their products, I want them, but sorry, this one I cannot. Since the launch of this generation I have seen two cars in my town, this is how popular they are. They learned nothing from the last years and seem not interested to sell.

We all know that they are reliable and practical, even those who never had a Honda, but very few are buying. In my eyes that is poor management and sooner or later we will see that in the quality as well.
