2024 CRV hybrid sport touring. Live in arizona, driving from cottonwood to prescott is a very long hill. There are 2 lanes for slow tractor trailers. I could not get the car to get past like 52-53 mph. If I pushed harder on the gas pedal the rpms shot up to over 7500 rpms It sounded like it was going to blow up. A fiat passed me like I was sitting still and tractor trailers were on my bumper flashing me and blowing their horns. This does not seem right. I am going to go to the dealer on monday and ask them. anyone else experience this kind of lack of acceleration? could the transmission be slipping

Does it have auto power folding mirrors?

No the CR-V does not come with folded mirrors

Local dealers are suggesting that the touring has extra acoustic glass and wheel features that make it quieter and that goes to justify the price increase among other things. I'm trying to decide between the L and Touring and can't find good info about the interior noise difference between the two if there is any.

There is difference in the noise control they are just trying to bump you up since the difference is just features is just a matter of what your looking in features that suit you better. differences are on the touring Bose Premium Sound System, Hands-Free Access Power Tailgate, 19-Inch Gloss-Black Alloy Wheels. sorry I been busy here at work.

no right now they only put Google/Alexa on the Accord

Does this car have a spare or not? If it doesn't, it is dead on arrival as far as I am concerned. The lack of a spare can be life threatening if you are stuck at the side of the interstate trying to "Fix" a flat tire on a car without a jack or tire iron and some drunk driving along at 80MPH who can barely see anything hits you.

All hybrid trims don’t come with a spare. The battery is where the spare should be.

U can buy a spare kit specifically for CR-V for ~$400 if it is critical for you.

Per Consumer reports, as of 2017, at least 1/3 of cars no longer come with a spare. I'd guess it's even more cars now and likely to be the upward trend moving forward (except for maybe large trucks). While I agree and wish it came with a spare, one would still be exposed to being hit by another driver while on the side of the interstate/road whether changing the tire or fixing the tire. Also, if tires are in good shape and changed out timely/properly when they get worn, it is not likely the wall side of the tire will be damaged (where the kits don't work), barring an accident or hitting something (then the tire will be the least of your worries). If the flat tire is simply due to a nail or similar, a kit should work to get you to a place to change out the tire. I'd suggest getting a "plug" type tire repair kit to keep in the care as well. The car comes with roadside assist and many people have AAA as well. If in the city and a well populated/services area, which is most of the time, this is not really an issue. If driving in a more rural/remote area then, yes, a spare is much more beneficial. In this case, a spare kit can be purchased and kept in the spacious cargo area for long trips with possible rural/remote driving. Or, purchase the spare kit no matter what and keep it at home while in town and if needed, someone can easily bring the tire kit to you.
