I have a Brio, bought July 2022. Never had a problem with the GC. Mas sumasayad pa lagi yung Jazz GE ko sa mga humps dito sa amin pag 4 kami nakasakay.

We bought the Wigo G because it's the one we can afford. As both Anton and Leandre pointed out, Wigo's top spec variant is still a lot cheaper than Brio's base variant.

Power wise wala naman talagang argument, brio sports 1.2L engine, its pointless to compare power for a compatc sedan that aims for economical city driving, but yes, also bought the wigo dahil mas mahal pa ang base model gn Brio vs G Variant ng Wigo

Best comparison ever. I am actually rooting for these two models and brands as my 1st car. Both brands have decent reputation but I am now inclined to Wigo. I learned a lot. Kudos! 👏👏👏

I had Wigo before and after 5 yrs, switched to Brio. Never regretted my decision. Both are good and worth the money.

Because of this comparison test. I'm now more convinced to buy the Honda Brio BT for my daughter. Good Job TopGear.

Its only a matter of what you can compromise, and based on your budget. Both are awesome looking cars , both japanese cars so I guess its only a matter of what you prioritize over the other like features etc.

Laki ng increase ng price ni brio from around 730k na top of the line, manual na lang sya ngaun. Naalala ko dati ilan pa lang 2nd gen brio nung 2019, nag potpot pa pag nagkasalubong ngaun parang wigo na din sa dami.

As an American I love watching these videos, it is very cool to see the cheap microcars that we do not get here in the USA. The only vehicles we have that will compare to the microcars are the Nissan Versa, which is called the Almera in your market, and the Mitsubishi mirage. Sadly, both of these cars will stop being sold very soon and the smallest cars we will have will be the Corolla. It is sad to see them go as there won’t be any cheap options for us.

May wigo G 2024 ako gusto ko yung Brio 2024 pero nun nakita ko yung sa pinsan ko mas nagustuhan ko na yung wigo ko, mas ok ako sa specs nya kesa sa brio lalo na sa interior design and gadgets at mas malaki ang trunk nya kesa sa brio, yung mags lang talaga gusto ko palitan

Just Bought it 2 days ago am still exploring it, kinda new on hutchbacks since my last car was MG4. The only thing that i'm not used to it are the breaks but the rest is decent

Pls compare the Wigo G against the latest model Suzuki Celerio AGS. P730K vs P755K respectively.

137 mm is just not suitable for the uneven roads we have here. I hope the next generation Brio will have at least 160 mm ground clearance.

I wanna see the new version S Presso and see how it will stack up against the new Wigo. Not the old model AGS released last year, the new version.

If you guys notice the 60-100kph test nag lag yun wigo around 8 sec. number one reason is, it's a DCVT, you need to be a little bit gentle with the pedal, it needs to be flowing smoothly, abruptly flooring it will cause lag. Take my advice, CVT is fast if you know how to use it.

Smart entry and dashcam are a nice touch from Toyota. Honda can't even be bothered with a reverse camera or push start button, and the usb coming out of the glove box is just plain tacky for 2023.

Mapili sa cord kasi. Yung stock cord ng phone ko ayaw gumana pero sa lumang cord ng other phone ko gumagana. iPhone stock cord ni misis gumana naman din. Mapili talaga kaya valid yung point na yun.

Legroom for a driver in the Wigo is not bad I am 6 ft 1 inch tall with long legs no problem. Price point Wigo also wins

I think There's no competition because if you got some cash and favors more power and performance go for the brio but if you a broke person like me who favor gasoline efficiency go for the wigo easy as that. I have a wigo G variant with just city driving it can achieve 15 to 17 kilometers per liter but if i go to high way can easily achieve 20 to 25 kilometers per Liter

Sa PH talaga walang pakialam sa mga safety features, ni hindi man lang nabanggit sa video kahit man lang yung recall dahil sa safety issues ng Toyota/Daihatsu models.

Sucks that the Mirage is a decade old already and cant compete anymore. Would be nice if Swift is added on the comparo.

May bago yung mirage hb, meron na sa canada. Sana lang umabot dito. Almost the same looks halos mags lang nabago pero may added features narin mostly tech.

who uses reverse camera when parking?

Kung tech lang ang habol niyo, kaya naman ipa-install yan. Dashcam, reverse cam, parking sensor, marami niyan after market, pero yung comfort at yung performance di mo na yan mababago lalo naman yung engine.

Brio, with its 4 cylinders engine, it might be much more durable in terms of length in service years than the 3 cylinders engine. There have already been a lot of car accessories in the market today , so never mind the lacking features. It can easily be put in your car later .

it maybe pricer but ill go to the 4 cyclinder brio..you can add those features that the brio lack, later.1.2 liter 4 cylinder is the way way better than a 1 liter 3 cylinder wigo..you could say its a small hatch so wont need that much power, but on the road you'll need that extra 200cc, believe me.

Would you care to explain why? Wigo can climb uphill through slope assist. Don't also have a problem to overtake on highways and even in expressways through multiple CUVs and SUVs and some even on eco mode So I just want to understand the additional 200cc difference

Stop comparing the engine. For God sake 1.2 over 1.0 really not much of a difference both are not built for speed, per the reviewer you buy a compact car for practicality and fuel economy not for speed. So shut up 🤐 😂😂😂

Wigo has higher ground clearance 165mm compared to Brio. Dunno why Honda hatchbacks and sedans have very low ground clearances at around the 120mm range...

I prefer wigo ❤️

Dapat Wigo vs Celerio Same engine displacement pero talo sa patipiran ang Wigo sa Celerio.

Baka nakalimutan niyo ? May wigo at brio para sa fuel efficiency and ease of use sa city. Hindi yan pang palakasan ng acceleration, speed, or any expectations sa performance. Pang everyday use/commute not racing or to haul any heavy object (powe comparison). 🤦

wigo looks fine, but brio is Better

Can you recommend a sedan na comparable to these 2? Brio was my choice but wife hated hatchbacks 😅 so gotta follow with her. We just wanted small compact and frugal in both fuel and maintenance. Same as these two.

Build quality is hard to review since you need quantity of unit to test it, and would take time, better leave it on community that have the unit and see the problem being raised very often and compare. They did tackle NVH though in Test 7 & 8 part.

same, I bought a dash cam with a reverse camera for my 2023 Brio RS only reason is dahil request ni misis. But like you, I prefer the parking sensor and don't rely on the reverse camera so most of the time, both cameras are turned off when I'm driving alone

nope, you're not the only one. For people who learned how to drive using very old cars, back camera isnt even necessary. Having a parking sensor is already a bonus. The first time i bought a car with back camera, hindi natitignan un screen nun back camera kasi mata laging nasa side mirrors and rear view mirror 🤣🤣

If money is not an issue, I would go for the Brio. But Wigo is better in all aspects. And a lot cheaper too.

Na compare ko actual yung wigo at brio. Mas maluwag space ng Wigo at sa specs mas ok. Brio siempre mas may hatak. Pero ang point is di naman pang karera habol mo eh. So sa price wigo rin panalo dito.

I have Wigo G 2023 model, great car, fuel efficient and very reliable, we have no issue with it so far. However, minsan hinahanap ko sa kanya yung power ng engine and smoothness ng takbo, less vibration which I think na kay Brio. Trust me, medyo ma vibrate si Wigo, with low acceleration power na hahanapin mo sa city driving or highway.

Ok ba wigo for daily for 5 years? Mga 60km per day so mgA 130k for 5 years.di ba expensive pms? Normally mga 2 plus months lang 5k na agad eh.

Brio still has the same dashboard as the old BRV, Jazz, the old City, Mobilio...
