A very smart looking truck both on the outside and the inside. Would be nice to see blue oval trucks back on the roads again if they're going to be this smart looking in 2024.

As someone who grew up in the 1980s, I miss seeing ford semis on the road. Heck, I even miss the old COEs here in the states. It seems all the trucks here have hoods, while all the trucks everywhere else are COE.

Nowhere else do they waste space by having the cab sit behind the engine taking up usefull space on the chasis . . .

I drove an 1985 LTL9000 , was the best driving truck I ever had , I hauled coal in east Ky and West Virginia never had a load under 60 tons

However, it´s a beauty truck.

As an old diesel mechanic, this truck should be a maintenance relief like the older trucks were with everything easy to get to especially engine and transmission with a tilt cab, would definitely be better than conventional trucks now and a lot less weight.

F max is a nice truck with the right power trains but as usual the interior is not good enough to compete with any German truck or even with an Iveco. I hold my heart to see what GPS, board computer and Audio Ford now again put in it. Up till now the most convenient trucks for long distance with room and luxury in the cab are MAN and Mercedes. it is as simple as that. Why that bend dashboard????tell me

I agree, it looks like quite a budget truck and the interior hasn't got the driver friendly detailing that the latest trucks in Europe have where the big name trucks are designed for a driver to be two weeks away on the road. It seems to be aimed at the middle-eastern and Eastern European market where it probably will sell ok.

I can say, I live in a small european country and Ford opened recently 6 F-Max dealerships in view of sales of course. You know Ford is good but Ford also costs money and with the F-Max it sits too far from the Germans. Originally the F-Max was an ugly truck. That snout sucked. Now it is a truck and the interior sucks. Learning..step by step. @@Pesmog

This truck looks like garbage

The F-Max is virtually unsellable in Belgium. For the price of a 500 I have a 420 horse tractor from Mercedes with much much more comfort and much more specs. What is the difference between 500 and 420 horse at that time? We have no hills, we have no heavy loads we ride as flat as you can. You sould be a fool to choose for Ford and make you life difficult as a trucker. So if Ford wants to sell the FMax in Belgium the cab interior has to be redesigned and it may have less than 500 HP. A cab should be walk through like German cabs We don't even use these extra 80 horse. Gonna tell you something. In the past, with hauling HEAVY loads and in City trafiic (stopping accellerating constantly) we went no higher than a 320M or a 1932. and Without blowing up the turbo or the engine. So Mercedes is more than right to see a 420HP as a standard engine for all and also heavy use.
