@@user-yr4tg9yp4n the boats that raced in this years fautasi race .. duh 🤣. Two villages Alao and Pavaiai (Pavaiai is my village) are trying to build their boats for next years race.Nu'uuli is my other village so its MUAKOLUU everyday baby🤣🔴⚪
Funny how the camera angel changes at 9 minutes so it doesn't show the jet ski getting in the way of paepaeulupoo.
Those freaking jet skies and boats were clearly slowing down other fautasi from the beginning and towards the end.

Thanks for posting uso! If you're filming is accurate, 3 ships were already 3-4 boats lengths ahead before the horn...SMH! The credibility of this annual race we all grew up with is crumbling. If nothing is done to fix this, no one will watch or want to want to participate! It'll become like the increasing amount of abandoned homes in our beautiful island!

It’s always been like this. Thanks to the drones, the public now can see what goes on and the start of the race. Rowed for 6 years and some boats which I will not name always try to get an advantage at the start. Villages will always support and watch trust.. We haven’t won in over 10 yrs and full support from the village always and same with the other villages. Still yet always disheartening 🦅
They need to fix the issue at starting line. How is this a fair race when few other boats are well ahead from the rest. I know all the crews trained very hard for this one day and it got taken away from them before it even started WOW…. Unbelievable.

Clearly we were a few minutes into the race already. Aeto had already switched lanes and MT and Paepae were in front. O le lelei a le faoso a MT ma Paepae 💪🏽. We didn’t start lengths ahead of everyone, that’s just how everything played out. The video started recording and we were already a few minutes into it. Ogosai mai kakou mo leisi kausaga.
