I wish I could have been the boy
It was an elbow attack just like an americana. Just because the wrist is being grabbed during a submission attempt doesn't necessary mean the wrist was under attack (ie, wrist lock -obv illegal in this division) and the torque applied to the elbow at 3:05 illustrates this point: as the elbow under attack rises the wrist goes outwards, but it wasn't due to pressure to the wrist it was the pressure from the elbow. I watched it closely as it happened, he wasn't trying to pull down on her wrist, notice the wrist never goes below a 90 degree angle. It wasn't a wrist lock and it wasn't an illegal technique.

Hey thanks for the comment. I had so many videos I haven't been able to watch all the kid ones. The title was from the camera guy calling my attention to it in file name I'll watch and adjust the title. Thanks again

@@everythingbjj Honestly imo it looks like the boy is hitting a wrist lock at the same time as the elbow attack, yes you can grab the wrist for control but he's cranking that hand down pretty hard.
