2024 Elections | Discussion on role of smaller political parties

About 31 political parties are contesting the national and provincial elections for the first time. Can new and small parties punch above their weight at the polls and do they have capabilities of more established parties?
As we continue to look at role smaller political parties play in this year's elections, we ask if small and new parties doing enough to put themselves out there. To discuss this matter and their manifestos, we're joined in the studio by the African Content Movement President Hlaudi Motsoeneng, Xiluva President Bongani Baloyi and the National Coloured Congress President Fadiel Adams.

    Vote OHM for system change! The more representatives in parliament the more democratic it is. Voting for a new or emerging party does not make the ruling party stronger and the opposition party weaker, it creates a chance for more people being represented in parliament

    A manifesto is like a declaration or statement that outlines someone's beliefs, goals, or intentions. It's often written to explain what someone or a group stands for or what they want to achieve. It's kind of like a roadmap for what they want to do or change in the world.

    I’m native South African living in the USA. There are consequences for crime so people think twice before committing it. Investors will come if leaders actually act, with this will come jobs and money to pay the citizens. Citizens need to see the cheques and balances so we know where the income and expenses are going. Colored people are mixed ethnicities-we stand for all. Few years from now, we all will be colored!

What where u before white ppl gave u that title

  • @EvansJethroThabethe

    @EvansJethroThabethe

    Ай бұрын

    @AndreKleinhans-pj8rf I'm not black. I'm an African. There's absolutely nothing black about me except for my hair. The "white," "black," and what not, is the 14th century self-righteous vocabulary nonsense introduced by Caucasians. To answer you about the ANC as to why they brought it back. That was intentional to enrich Africans. The reason DE klerk got rid of it was that he knew that the European race won't govern South Africa anymore. Yes, the apartheid bigots benefit led from tenders dating back 200 years. One in particular is John Kirkeness, a 26-year Scottish immigration who migrated to South Africa in 1879 and was awarded a tender by Paul Kruger to build his parliament in 1880. So, tenders are not new and were exploited by the apartheid regime for many years.
