Well the idea is: the citisens votes for the parties based on each party's values and plans to improve the country. Through coalition the parties work together to come up with a consolidated plan. There will be compromises but each party must make sure that the end result is close to what the people have voted for. Of course as a party if more people voted for you, then you may have more sway in the planning process. This is where the idea of seats become very important. The coalition then chooses/votes for a neutral member to help them execute the consolidated plan. This would be the Prime minister/President This way we have 5 years of action to improve the country. No more stagnation and degredation. The people are in charge now.

If the ANC forms a coalition with MK and EFF, it would be disastrous for the SA economy, as a loss of market/investment confidence would increase. Overseas companies would be reluctant to invest if SA becomes more and more politically unstable, pushing plans to seize land and accessing pension funds to use for its own purposes. African socialism/Marxism will lead to increased poverty and unemployment, resulting in greater social unrest and serious crime!

All we want is a government that can take care of the citizens and not take us back to apartheid in reverse or colonial ruling....

I'm uncomfortable with the idea of stating that IEC will test whether the issues are material or not. If we believe that every vote counts, then we face a situation where a party A received 207 votes, but when the IEC was capturing on the system, it was changed to 2007 votes. If such an issue happened in the presence of auditors, the IEC should not be defensive rather should allow party agents to verify the data captured in all the capturing sites since party agents where not allowed during the capturing stages. ANC+MK+EFF =64.31% then analysts like this lady need not to tell us about the interests of the donors and markets BUT let the politicians prioritize the interest of the voters.

There are only 3 out of 10 problem cases that need to be managed. 1. Gauteng.ANC will lead & DA will need to follow following a framework that moves services forward. 2. Nationally, ANC will lead & DA or others will vote to have a majority vote based on reasonable consensus... Not a narrow majority unless on minor issues. 3. KZN..? Can IFP lead with support from ANC + DA + others rather than MK + EFF? Consensus will be hard to manage! Its likely to get stuck in extra parliamentary struggle chaos! Others should be fairly capable to govern well
