The New e-tron GT facelift brings a host of new design updates, making each model stand out. It’s more powerful than ever, with the base model boasting more power than the top model of the pre-facelift! Plus, it comes with a new suspension system that’s top-notch for a car of this type!
We first have the S e-tron GT, which is more about elegance with a less aggressive look. And in the middle RS e-tron GT, sharing much with the top dog. The main one we’re looking at is the RS “Performance”, which is the first ever Perf of the Audi #ElectricCars line up. This has unique details and significant upgrades from the previous top-level e-tron.
We have tonnes of forged (camouflaged) carbon fibre, a matte darkened carbon roof and the new Bedford Green color and the best ever EV wheels I’ve seen with the AVUS style wheels, as seen on the RS6 GT.
Performance comes as before from PSM motors on the front and rear for all models, but now we have a bigger 625KG battery with 97kw usable capacity offering more range in the same size, and a new, lighter rear PSM motor on the rear (previously 335kw, now 450kw).
We will also look at the performance stats of each of the models, with the 680PS S e-tron, the 857PS RS e-tron and our 925PS performance! The range has improved significantly which we’ll also go over.
More crucially all models can option a new active suspension system, as we first saw in the new Panamera, with active shock absorbers connected to a hydraulic pump. These shocks handle rebound and compression at each wheel quickly, keeping the car stable over rough terrain and faster through the corners. It also reduces movement in acceleration and deceleration.
A standard two-valve air suspension with two-valve dampers is also a great system, and optional rear-wheel steering with 2.6 degrees is available.
Interior highlights include a new double-flat Audi wheel with two red buttons, newly designed seats and light projection, updated battery readouts in the virtual cockpit, a new Audi virtual cockpit with a white power display unique to the Performance model, and an opaque turning sunroof similar to Taycan!
Lots changed, and this is just the beginning of many more RS models to come on the channel this month.

previous gen e-tron GT had physical buttons, which was a welcome change when I went from my RS7 which was just touchscreens. Shame they've moved away from proper buttons on the steering wheel (excluding the boost button)

Hot Damn!! I’ve always been an Etron GT guy but always loved the Taycan, but now the new RS Etron GT is hands down the best looking EV in my eyes.

Thanks for the video. Insightful walkthrough. I have the current RS e-tron GT and so enjoy it. This new version is appealing. Only feature giving me pause are the haptic steering wheel buttons. Still, I’ll be visiting my Audi dealer when it arrives in the states. 👍🏾

That's so fast about the like taycan turbo gt version, the three electric motor is 1100hp is the absolute power house, that is kick ass, that Audi RS e-tron gt performance version from 2025, i like that but this car coming to electric power of the Roar, this thing it's wild

They should’ve just given this thing a number moniker (similar to the E-Tron GT becoming Q8 E-Tron). This would work nicely as an “RS9 E-Tron”.
If this had a v8 or even hybrid v6 it would be perfect.

Raz…this is just wonderful….the best EV of them all. I would not choose that dreadful carbon pack which looks just lie the Fablon on my Grandmothers kitchen worktop in 1958! Properly optioned and in that colour…and with a huge depreciation price cut, that is some purchase. Tyres might do 5000 miles…but a car to savour in so many ways.😀😀😀😀🙂

Closer to $200,000 I’m afraid but in Europe it will crash in depreciation so for s €170/180.000 will be €100,000 in 6 months.
The chopped carbon looks like a kitchen counter inside, the rest of the car is excellent!

Interior still looks a little 'cheap' and plasticy as compared to the more premium interior of the RS6/RS7. Hate how they use the dickie switch for a gearstick. And yes, ive driven the etron RS GT, as recently as yesterday at an Audi Performance Driving course. Amazing acceleration & stopping power. However, id still choose the RS6/RS7, especially new "Competition" versions for similar $$$

What ever happened to men who worked on their own cars with pride in knowing they could modify it and go show off their own creations ? Who wants to go to a car show and lift up a hood and look at a battery 😆😆😆
Think I'd prefer to get a Polestar 3 AND a Model 3 Performance for about the same money.

Amazing car! Interior carbon is a disaster … looks like mould 😮 And it’s an EV so wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole.
Why oh why do they use forged carbon? It always looks like dirty plastic. Yet normal carbon on the roof? Mix n match. Should be able to option normal carbon on rest of it. Suspension trickery would freak our dog out when getting in and out! Never understood why they have never put a hatchback bootlid on this? I would be so tempted by one if it had that practicality, but they dont so I will stay with my Vorsprung RS5 sportback until they do!
It’s a shame that this model doesn’t have a dirty V8 in it.. Seems to be a lot of companies AMG’s etc are downsizing.. Taking away cylinders from a top sport model is like slapping God hard around the face
the badging is a disaster. why is the RS not connected directly to the red rhombus? it's ugly and looks like they purchased a plastic badge from Temu. I've also seen that they are putting the red rhombus on A models! Talk about destroying brand legacy!

I guess it could be considered a poor mans taycan turbo s or turbo gt. Other then price its worse then the new taycan in 0-60 , quarter mile, from a roll, handling and braking, interior, and doesnt look near as good. The new taycan has more range and faster charging. New taycan has all new suspension tech thats insane and audi has to buy its patent from porsche. Their isnt one single thing the audi does better. The front is cool but that rear end got way too much going on.

This Audi got the same suspension as the Taycan. And most agree that it looks slightly better, especially considering Taycan got uglified a bit. As for as 0-60, quarter miles go, there really isn't much of a difference either. It's the same with price. In my country they both cost almost the same, with the Taycan only a 20k USD extra..
Tesla Plaid is quicker 1.9 seconds 0-60 and half the price
