I am a 54-year-old Lions fan. I’ve been a fan since 1980. As you can imagine my heart has been broken many, many times. Many years of frustration with the Ford family. Now that Sheila is at the helm things are so different! I wish I could’ve met her when I still lived on the east side of Detroit. I am so hyped up for this game!

I'm 66 years old my first Lions game was back in when I was five and my grandfather took me to Tiger Stadium and we sat at the very very top of right field to watch Lions and the Green Bay Packers. I'm a '49ers fan who's most definitely rooting for them to win. While we've been dominant most of this season, we have proven ourselves to be beatable, and I certainly could see the Lions upsetting us. For the sixty minutes of regulation play-time, I will unwaveringly be rooting for my Niners' to win it. However quizzical that it might sound for me to say, this doesn't mean that I'm rooting against the Lions. If you do beat us, after a week or so to recover from the disappointment and heartbreak of losing a second consecutive NFCCG, believe it or not, I'll wholeheartedly be rooting for your Lions to defeat whichever AFC team wins its respective Conference Championship game and finally end not only its Super Bowl curse but its pre-merger League Championship curse going all the way back to the late '50s. Until the end of our match-up, however, I'll be 100% rooting for my favorite team to do whatever it takes to defend its home stadium against your Lions.
