Lamar CISD is a place people want to call home, and reports show there will be a lot more people doing just that in the coming years. Lamar CISD is once again the fastest-growing school district in the Houston area. However, trends show we are significantly moving beyond "fast-growth" and into the "hypergrowth" category. During the next decade, Lamar CISD projects to receive an average of 2,135 new students each year, plus an annual addition of more than 4,000 new homes for the next 15 to 20 years.
