Your students will love it i know it!
Try invest in getting another carpet for the other students so they feel special as well!

@@winifredlewis1554 It would be impossible for me to buy another carpet big enough to fill the tile. My hope is that my students feel loved and special no matter what type of flooring their desk is on. Plus we change desks every two weeks so it will be all okay :)

I hope that you have permission from your administrators to put contact paper on your doors. It is terrible how teachers today have to set up a safe area in the event of a lockdown or active shooter. I have been teaching for 31 years, and all teachers had to deal with were earthquake and fire drills.
