2024 Chevy Trax 1RS vs 2RS | Feature & Pricing Breakdown!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I compare the 2024 Chevy Trax 1RS and Trax 2RS options, features, and pricing between the two trims. In the next generation, the Trax offers many features that were never available including adaptive cruise control, digital gauge cluster, and LED headlights. The 1RS and 2RS trims many seem very similar but the upper trim has a lot more to offer for a little price increase. Both of these are very competitive in the current sub compact segment but I would likely opt for the 2RS for all the additional amenities it has to offer. Let me know your pick down in the comments below!

2RS is what I purchased. I don't know why I'm hearing some people saying the wheels are ugly on the 2RS. Different stroke for different folks 😊

Great video, thanks for posting it. Went ahead and ordered the Crimson Metallic 1RS model with the Confidence package for a little over $23K, which is great! Unfortunately, the Rear Park Assist is restricted at the moment, so it was left out. Got the order already accepted by GM, just waiting for the production acceptance at the Bupyeong plant in South Korea. When the vehicle arrives, I'll just add Wet Okole seat covers and should be all set. It's the perfect vehicle for the wife to drive in Florida.

Nice choice! I guess you won't be needing those heated seats/steering wheel too often down there but you'll have them just in case. 😄

@@CarsMadeSimple Thanks and exactly!! GM should offer a convenience package tailored made to sunbelt states , like Florida and Nevada, with non heated elements, and perhaps the sunroof included in the package. That would make more sense! Besides, I bet, after one year the sunbelt states in the US will represent +75% of the total orders since the 2024 Trax only comes with FWD. Anyhow, you are correct, we'll use it for those (5 or 10) winter days in Florida or during a holiday trip to TN. ❄🏂☃

Just got one at our dealership I work at today its an LT but still really nice I DONT really like the cluster but it works small setback for what whole car adds up to. Tons of nice safety features heated steering wheel much bigger pretty much the size of an equinox or blazer (not to be confused with the trail blazer) anyway the trax for being 30k I think anyone with a "tight new car budget" would be more than happy with this vehicle our finance manager is a tall guy over 6ft and with the drivers seat adjusted to him he can sit in the back seat comfortably. Real impressed with GM on this one

Thank you for this- I was having a hard time figuring out which one to order so I appreciate the breakdown! I have been small SUV shopping for a few weeks and stumbled accross this today. I didn't love past generations look but I love the look of the RS. I have contacted my dealership to order when possible. I will be ordering the 1RS in Fountain Blue!

I'm not sure. But I think my parents referred to imitation leather as vinyl, naugahyde or pleather. I'm sure it has continued to get better in quality.

Thanks for the information preview. Are Chevrolet dealers taking build orders?? Wish it was made in the USA 🇺🇸. Prefer the Trax 1 RS.

I believe the Trax is going to be allocated from the port consensus model which means GM builds units based on demand and constraints. Dealers then can select from the available inventory at port.

I would go for the 2RS because I want the safety features. I’m just scared of a GM Daewoo designed/built car and am only staying away because I want a 10yr/100,000 warranty with a Daewoo.

they look nice but why a small engine a 1.2 that only gets 28 mpg and probably does not have enough power to make it up the mountains easily/ elanta has 2.0 and 30/40mpg

Don't let the size fool you. I traded in my 2019 ford escape 1.5L, because the coolant intrusion started. The 1.2L in the Trax moves it faster and cruises smoother and quieter than the escape. I'm very happy with my Trax.

So you have a bunch of trims, but within the trims, you have to buy other packages? And on top of that, things in the lower trims aren't available in higher trims? Pfffft.
